This syndrome is raging among the left as the latest Real Clear Politics poll average shows President Trump leading in a two way race against President Joe Biden. Trump’s lead is even greater when five presidential candidates, such as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. are included in the polling.

Derangement my eye, they know they’re in for a fight for their political lives and possibly their liberty. Once Trump47 gets his hands on all the evidence I am certain he will find criminal offenses that thousands of them can be charged with. Keep digging and I’m just as sure he’ll find evidence of treason, and it won’t be just a few of them. You might see some of them on trail for their lives.

Once Trump47 gets his hands on all the evidence I am certain he will find criminal offenses that thousands of them can be charged with.

I pray that you're right but I don't hold out much hope.

1) Yes, Trump can appoint a new Attorney General, and a new FBI Director, and a new Homeland Security Director, but the thousands upon thousands of lower level people who assign and supervise the investigations will either slow-walk or flat out ignore any directives to pursue charges against those individuals. The Liberal rot has seeped into every level of Justice, most of which are part of the Government Service union and do not serve at the pleasure of the President or his political appointees and can only be fired for cause after a lengthy process.

2) Trump ran on a campaign of "lock her up" in 2016, but once he was in office he purposely didn't pursue any charges against Hillary Clinton for destroying subpoenaed evidence, running an unauthorized mail server that was compromised by the Chinese, or for sending and receiving classified information using a private email account.

The Left did a very good job in 2016-2020 in going after not only Trump, but just about anybody who served in his cabinet or served as advisors, to the point that in 2024 when Trump wins and he asks someone to join his administration, they're going to have to ask themselves "can I survive financially defending against FBI and DOJ charges?"

Look at the long list of people either put in jail or bankrupted with legal fees from the first Trump administration.

I'm not as optimistic as you.

On point #2 when Trump dropped it they saw it as weakness and opportunity to go on a relentless 4 year vendetta. I remember an HRC quote that said if we lose we are all going to hang. She knew how dirty and lawless they were and what they would do if the situation was reversed. Trump tho thought for the good of the country he should let it go. Boy was he wrong

People hate Trump for no reason other than they hate themselves. The left is all about anger and negativity and division.

I wonder if it will ever erupt into open warfare in the streets?

I just responded to a post on LinkedIn by somebody who I worked with a long time ago, who I previously had immense respect for (both professionally and personally). The topic was Trump filing to have Judge Engoron removed from his (real estate/loan fraud) trial because of the ex parte communication that the judge had with a real estate expert. My ex-colleague simply said “Give it up trump. You’re guilty as sin.” My response was factual, first indicating that the bank which loaned his company the money is very financially sophisticated and had more than enough opportunity to perform due diligence prior to approving the loan. I further pointed out Trump’s company paid offthe entire loan, including interest, on time. Thus, even if there was hypothetically fraud, which I indicated that I don’t believe took place, there was no victim and no damages as nobody was cheated out of one thin dime. I then went on to point out that under American law, it is highly unusual for a monetary penalty as a result of fraud to exceed 10 times the amount of money that was actually defrauded from the victim. I pointed out that while I did not have a calculator handy, I was pretty sure that 10×$0 is significantly less than $455 million. Finally, I pointed out that the filing by Trump was to have the judge removed because he violated the law as well as judicial ethics by having an ex parte communication. Trump’s attorneys had no opportunity to present their own real estate experts in opposition to the guy who met with the judge, nor any opportunity to cross examine him. This violates the law in every single state, and violates the code of judicial ethics in every single state. I pointed out that not only should the judge be removed from the trial, but that he should be removed from the bench.

I have yet to see any response this guy made to my post, but I am quite sure that it will not be based on reason or logic. He is just a Trump hater. While that is fine, everybody is entitled to their own political opinions, that kind of emotion should not apply at all during the course of a trial, whether it is civil or criminal in nature. Trial outcomes must be based upon facts, and every person who is accused of having done something wrong is entitled to due process. People like my ex-colleague are clearly not interested in whether or not Trump has actually done something wrong or not, or in his having anything approaching due process. People like thisare only interested in the result that they want, which most of the time is based upon their gut feelings, not any rational reasons.

I am really getting sick and tired of this double standard, and also of how much of our political discourse and our policies are based upon emotions, rather than on facts and logical reasoning. That is why we are in the situation that we are in, and the very existence of our Republic, and the future of our posterity are in serious danger.
