Me, to my Cashier at the Grocery Store; 70’s, looks even older, smoker, tattoos, still having to work in her Golden Years:
“Hi! How are you today?”
Cashier: “Well, I’m fine NOW, but once TRUMP gets back in, life is going to be miserable! *Grumble-Grumble.* The whole WORLD is going to hate us again!”
Me: Stunned silence, but I smiled to appear complicit. *SMIRK*
