The European betting markets have it between these 2 for Trump's VP Pick.
Burgum: 3.8
VANCE: 5.0
The rest are huge odds so it's got to be between these 2 I suggest.

Even though Vance is a first term senator he's made a big impression!
Ben Carson.
Vance thinks minimum wage laws are helpful, so he is woefully ignorant of economics. I’d prefer Burgum.
I wouldn’t say no to him either..
He’s 11.0, not exactly out of it but the other 2 seem likely
It will be Sarah Palin
Vance is more valuable in the Senate.
Burgum is another outside the Beltway businessman, who has a great economic mind, and is an energy expert.
If it’s down to those two, I’d prefer Doug Burgum.
So you like looking at people who resemble funeral home directors?
Anyone from Florida, No. So that eliminates Rubio, Scott , and DeSantis
No Senators as they are needed in the Senate and often have no leadership skills to be president (e.g., as compared to a sitting or past governor). That eliminates quite a few people.
Noem? Nope, no dog and goat killers.
Burgum? Not inspirational, won't add to the base. Better as a cabinet member.
Youngkin? Same, plus he's kind of failed in Virginia.
Carson? Cabinet position, no swagger to be president.
Ramaswammy? No way. If he wants in the White House, put him in charge of the janitorial staff.
Huckabee Sanders? Maybe
Mike Huckabee? Maybe, that'd be an interesting out-of-the-blue pick.
Gabbard? Maybe, not good on politics, no a Republican, but she'd complement Trump nicely and be a one-and-done VP, not vying for 2028 president.
The other day in Racine, Wisconsin, Trump introduced Eric Hovde. That guy had Trump swagger and competence and speaking presence. I don't know anything about him but I was very impressed with his moment on Trump's stage. More so than any other person he's brought up to the stage this election cycle.
Well, I've got more No's than anything else. I just hope that Trump can really break his cycle of bad picks and choose a VP that we can all cheer.
Good catch.
I prefer the more experienced Burgum.
It’s not a done deal. I think Trump might surprise us with his pick. No matter who it is, certain freepers will endlessly criticize his choice.
Me 2
BTW Election Winner the odds are:-
Trump: 1.86
Biden: 2.82
So you can see Trump is hugely favored now in the betting markets.
I got burned after the steal for my sins so wont be gambling again but it’s interesting nonetheless.
Choosing a white man would be a big mistake.
I’m hoping he picks Vance, because I’m already tired of having that phony representing me in the Senate. He had his election bought for him by Peter Thiel, and he’s woefully ignorant on almost everything a Senator needs to know. Good at photo-ops, though. And he can be Trumop’s media attack-dog, which is the traditional role for the veep candidate. So win-win AFAIC.
Why wouldn’t Gabbard vie for 2028? Am wary of all the leftist ideas she has, so am just curious. Are you thinking she would be considered a turncoat so Democrats wouldn’t want her?
Same
It doesn’t matter who he picks, the media will try and destroy them......
Amen. Vance is brilliant, quick on his feet and articulate. Burgumbwill not add one single vote across America, decent as he appears to be.
I’d go with Rubio or Scott. The others won’t add anything to the ticket. It’s more important to win than to get the right successor. Actually I think Tim Scott adds most to the ticket. He’d help in PA, and PA is the essential state to win. If Trump wins PA, then he wins.
