Not knocking you, but this is one National Day that should be posted the day before, so that you can make proper plans to get out there early!

I’ve fished for years.
I don’t like the challenge of catching,
I like eating.
With my brother in Alaska it was always catch and release,
since his freezer was full.
Here in Hawaii, fishing is a waste of time,
due to Hawaii being so anti personal boats
all the spots accessible by shore are “fished out”.

The Washington state fish stocking program has become nothing more than a glorified welfare program here. Children under 16 don’t need a license, so the illegals take their whole family to the lake and catch their limit of 8 trout a piece. In few days the lake is void of fish.

Good memories of taking my son fishing. He fished. I hung around looking at the ocean. Good times.
