Bttt
Charles Krauthammer..
Israel .. is the only nation on earth that inhabits the same land, bears the same name, speaks the same language, and worships the same God that it did 3,000 years ago.
You dig the soil and you find pottery from Davidic times, coins from Bar Kokhba, and 2,000-year-old scrolls written in a script remarkably like the one that today advertises ice cream at the corner candy store.
Understood, and like I said who did they take it from. There claim to once have controlled it is not more valid then Mexico wanting Texas or the Lakota wanting black hills
My point on saying Muslims is that is what the article said lol
Thanks for posting this.
Thanks, and Thanks be to God.
RE: Sennacherib kinda failed but he didn’t dump $84 billion in money and weapons to the Pashtun tribes.
He couldn’t. The Bible says he was assassinated soon after his army returned from the siege of Jerusalem due to an Angel slaying tens of thousands of his soldiers in one night ( secular historians called it a mysterious plague ).
At least he led sort of from the front. 185,000 dead from an angel or disease?
At least the Assyrian’s put him to death after the fail. This day and age our nation gives them a dress and a medal
It’s an incredible story. Hezekiah trusted God on this when there was no hope to win.
There are very few truly “ indigenous” populations in the world, history is constant conquering and re-conquering, but the closest thing to an indigenous population in the eastern Mediterranean is the Hebrew people. There are 26 layers of “civilizations” in Megiddo,
There is a longer version in II Kings (chapters 18 & 19) than in II Chronicles. It’s the II Kings account which gives the figure of 185,000 dead.
They're taking credit for something that was entirely a creation of the Israelites, the Tanakh.
Yes but you have to give me sarcastic comedic license when ribbing the archaeologists. ;)
