A common argument made by pro-abortion advocates in support of infanticide is that abortion is needed in cases of rape - an “exception” to laws against baby murder that even many pro-lifers believe should be legal.
Generally, those who have strong feelings about abortion in the case of rape or incest are misinformed, going off of what someone has told them instead of looking at the facts. The left’s constant harping on rape and incest clauses would lead one to believe the situation is common.
That would be a lie.
An article by Life News reveals that more than 95 percent of abortions are done simply out of convenience, while only 0.4 percent of women are getting abortions as a result of rape or incest. The updated data is based on a new study conducted by the Charlotte Lozier Institute, one of the leading companies in research and data that exposes the truth about abortion.
Unfortunately, most people don’t see these statistics due to the fact that the CDC does not request information on reasons for abortion from states, and so this data is not included in most national reports.
As a whole, the common exceptions to abortion limits - rape, incest, life-threatening maternal conditions, and fetal diagnoses - account for less than 5% of all abortions, while more than nine out of 10 are done simply because a woman doesn’t want to have a baby. Even still, these rare exceptions are often used by the left to push for abortion on demand and without restrictions.
While every single child is deserving of life regardless of how they are conceived, the fact that abortion in the case of rape is an exceptionally rare event - a fact most people are unaware of - shows just how far the left will go to justify open and unapologetic infanticide. Hopefully, a report like this one will not only bring more public awareness of what abortion actually is, and open people's eyes to the lies that they are being fed.

Underage girls account for a lot and is statutory rape. Look at all the stories posted about what is going on in our schools and churches.
It’s easy to imagine that it’s damn difficult for a woman to carry the child of the guy who raped her. But,OTOH...if she were to put aside that pain she’d understand that the baby has done nothing wrong. She could deliver the child and then immediately put him/her up for adoption.
Many women say the abortion was worse than the rape.
A lot of women who did this say heal from the rape because now you have two things to heal from.
I know I’ve posted on this before, it’s just a matter of finding in in the millions of pro life stuff I’ve posted.
Abortion needs to be dropped as a republican talking point.
Usually the nurse who was the woman's first "contact" during the process would spend a lot of time with her...mainly talking,I believe (I never witnessed any part of it)...and then would come out,write notes and report to the surgeon who did the actual exam.
Usually that nurse would tell her fellow nurses " gee,this woman is for real" but once in a while I'd hear them say "I don't believe this woman's story".
Rape happens...absolutely. But there *are* women who will,for whatever reason,make false claims.

I don’t believe this statistic for a second simply because to qualify as a valid data point there has to be an arrest and conviction for rape. And we all know that’s a tiny fraction of the actual criminal offenses going on.
Yes,”feminists” do,it seems,tend to be less desireable to the average guy than most women. And as for lesbians....it’s easy to see why most lesbians choose to be that way...it’s because men don’t want to even be in the same Zip Code as them.
Well, one of the biggest red flags for making false claims of “rape” is that the woman is reluctant to file a report with police and press charges against the perpetrator.
I’ll contend that most claims of “rape” are merely sex regret, whether because they found out the man isn’t really interested in an ongoing relationship or because he is having relationships with others. I’ll put it at 90% IMO.

Can a rape victim go to the ER and get the “morning after pill”? Or is it available over the counter? If so, then rape victims have another option and the feminist arguments should be dismissed.

Personal responsibility would cure the need for 99% of abortions.
Rape or not, it’s too easy to get caught up in splitting straws and arguing about the numbers. The real point is that the unborn are innocent human beings from the moment of their conception and, however they were conceived, do not deserve the death penalty for the sins of their parents.
That was never the point. She feels raped because he’s a jerk since telling him after he promised he loved her.
