This is the sickening moment a brazen thief robbed a 10-year-old boy of $8 as he was walking along a Brooklyn sidewalk with his little sister in broad daylight.

The robbery took place on Friday around 11am in the Crown Heights neighborhood near 1436 Sterling Place. The block is lined with residential homes.

The youngster was walking with his seven-year-old sister when the suspect grabbed the boy's hand, and snatched his money before fleeing, police said.

Both children were unharmed.

I know this isn’t that egregious as..gosh I don’t know say running up to a random 3 year old baby and killing him with a knife. However the complete lawlessness and lack of morality shown is still something.

Amazing that our main stream media has became so woke, 2 news sources in the New York area I found wont shows pics or video of the perp. Even though he is still at large and has been identified by facial recognition software. One would think they would..you know want to help catch the guy? He has a criminal history including robbery not so long ago so he is probably out on probation.

I’ve never been to the big Apple and I have not the slightest interest in ever going.

I grew up not too far from Crown Heights in Brooklyn. Back then (the 50s) it was a nice, lower-middle class area, kind of like Ralph Kramden's in "The Honeymooners". Nowadays, I'd stay away from it. Sad to see what's become of my childhood borough.

Can we trade our blacks for Hispanics? Seems like an overall better deal than what we have.

If you read THE LORD OF THE FLIES while in High School you would understand what is going on today. Humans are by nature are savages, it is in our very genes once required to survive in a hostile world.

As man turned from hunter gatherers the need for for this “gene” grew less and so societies created ways to control these base instincts through family teaching, to societal rules and last (and least effective) government laws and regulations.

Humans growing up without any external restraint on their behavior fall back on their more basic nature. It is not so much a race issue as it is one group has been given a pass on behaving while another is still taught what is right and what is wrong.

..at least these are my thoughts on what is happening today in our large urban areas. I may be wrong.

There’s a holdup in the Bronx!
Brooklyn’s broken out in fights!
There’s a traffic jam in Harlem that’s backed up to Jackson Heights!
There’s a scout troop short a child!
Krushchev’s due at Idlewild!

Car 54, where are you?

For years, visiting NYC was on my "Bucket List," but is there no more. It's a saddening shame how the Democrats ruined that city and so many other once-great American cities.

You can have the same experience taking a look behind a toilet in a seedy truck stop.

For thousands of years, children near their homes would never meet random, unvetted adults.

I'm old enough to remember when it was called Idlewild :-)

It was renamed after JFK in 1963.

“Humans are by nature are savages..”

SOME Humans are not Human.

Some are....the ones who make everything work that does, those few who build the fires and walls to keep the darkness and beasts at bay.

We have always been fewer....but we have always been.

The boy and girl are lucky the democrat pygmy cannibal didn’t eat them (or rape them) on the spot.

The cannibal (very likely an illegal alien democrat from Congo) will be found and dealt with. Just a matter of time. /spit

I lived nearby too, until age 8. Moved to L.I. 70 years ago. It was very safe back then. My mother used to go out and walk every night.
