Heralding days of the tense Cold War, particularly the Cuban Missile Crisis, a Russian nuclear-powered submarine of the Yasen-M class, the Kazan, will visit Havana, Cuba has announced.

-snip-

According to RUSI (Royal United Services Institute), the Kazan was constructed in eight years, less than half the time taken to construct the lead ship of the class, the Severodvinsk.

The Kazan’s and Severodvinsk’s “most notable feature” is the capability to launch a range of anti-ship and land attack missiles

“Does anyone with any knowledge not know that there has been Russian subs in our waters starting as early as 1987. “

I was stationed at NAS Alameda, California in 69-70. We had a large ASW contingent there and there were Soviet subs all over the place. People would have freaked out if they knew.

Kuddos to you for remembering why the Soviets put missiles in Cuba. It was a response to the NATO escalation of putting missiles on the Soviet border. Let’s see, according to Putin, why did he launch his SMO? He launched to prevent NATO missiles on his border, mere seconds away from Moscow. We’re repeating the history we did not learn from.

Again, we were not blameless. First off we fomented a coup d'état in Ukraine, just like the coup d'état in our own 2020 election. It's not surprising that you fail to see either of those two coups that were fomented by the leftists who hate this nation, and have successfully captured all of our institutions. Because you undoubtably believe they are ridiculous conspiracy theories. You are one of those who will not see what is now blatantly in your face obvious.

Apparently you believe you are still residing in the nation into which you were born, assuming that you are indeed a natural born citizen.

You people have been so conditioned that you remind me of Pavlov's dogs.

Wake up & see the reality. At this point I'm not even sure that Biden really supports Ukraine. The goal here is really about securing Ukraine's natural resources. Lindsey Graham even stated that was the goal. Ukraine is already the vassal state of the U.S.

You must believe that I hate my nation that both my grandfather & father fought to preserve for us. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I am fighting for this nation to eject these criminals who have seized this nation, as you should be. Instead of wasting resources, time & energy "protecting" Ukraine while our nation is being invaded by millions of military aged men.

These criminals are the Democrats & the RINO faction of the Uni-party.

If you paid attention to what is really happening to our nation, you might even join those of us who are trying to wake up the masses to the real threat, and it ain't Russia.

Wake up for goodness sake.

Wow? How did we defeat the USSR? We spent them into bankruptcy. We have now done that to ourselves. we are now 34.8 trillion on debt, with 215 trillion in unfunded liabilities. We now pay more for interest payments on loans than our defense budget.

Mostly for trying to be the world's protector while the ones we protect leave it up to us to do their protecting, only we aren't really protecting anyone. They do not appreciate us at all as well. I guarantee that when we implode, ain't no one coming to protect us. Heck, our own government are attacking the patriots.

On top of that much of what we need to build munitions are outsourced to primarily are biggest threat, China. They too control most of the medicines this nation consumes.

I see you are a retired Lt. Colonel, but you apparently are unaware how aggressive NATO has become under Democrat Presidents, or the fact that Democrats hate our military, and have weakened our military. They got rid of a lot of the good ones, when they mandated the "vaccine", because they were refusing to take a "vaccine" that had been fully shaken out. That was all a scam too.

Apparently, you are fast asleep but you still see monsters walking the earth, but yet fail to see the monsters running this nation who have been destroying her from within. Wake up Lt. Colonel, for the sake of your loved ones whom you are bequeathing a tyrannical world. Perhaps you haven't even noticed how the Allied nations, along with the ones we helped to keep free that never helped us, have all turned into tyrannical nations to some degree. That includes this nation being run by communists, training our children to be communists.

Do you pay any attention to anything other than Ukraine?

Wow is your retort? I think you are better than that, but so far I am not seeing it, sadly enough.

This nation needs our attention, or no one will be around to help anyone. Is that what you want? When we fall, Ukraine will fall and the world will fall into tyranny.

A the Brits would say, you are penny wise, but pound foolish. Because you worry about the little distraction, while ignoring the elephant in the room.

Yet you haven't refuted any of what I said. Your responses are not only silly, they are outright juvenile. Think we are not on the brink of financial ruination? You think Biden won the 2020 election and absolutely received 81 million votes?

I sure wouldn't put that past you.

Let me guess, you were another military hot shot intelligence provider.

Like I said I hope you live a long life. Be sure to go get that latest "vaccine" & booster shots for whatever "plandemic" they have planned for this election cycle.

You are free and easy with the accusations, but you haven't mentioned what I said that was childish, let alone that what I said was wrong in some form or fashion. Refute what I said, oh great intellectual. Tell me why Ukraine is so important, and what right NATO even has to get involved in a conflict between two non NATO nations. You say that NATO was created to protect Europe, but that is not true at all. It was created to protect NATO member nations.

Meanwhile, Europe has committed suicide by allowing in massive immigrants, that instead of adding to their economies, have only succeeded in draining their economies. They too are cshitholes as a result.

There two strongest economies, Germany & France are shells of their former economic powerhouses.

Prove your case for our involvement there? We already got involved in 2 wars that I supported, to end up losing in the final analysis. We we didn't make those countries better. It didn't even make the world a safer place. It was nothing more than a boondoggle that has not benefitted the world at large, and has only worsened our own once powerful nation. But is sure has enriched those who are wed to the military-industrial complex, and not only make decisions but they have insider information to buy their wealth inducing stocks.

This was all by design, and you can't even see that fact, bright guy.

Oh, but you will fight hard for Ukraine. So start defending your position.

You are such a cute guy aren't you with your stupid retorts. You are a phony, period.

I mistakenly thought you were quoting your self in the first sentence on your home page, because that's how AR your thinking process is. That bad is on me. See, I can admit when I make a mistake, and it clearly was my mistake. That is something that people like you will never do.

As for the statement I made that you are probably a Biden supporter is the fact that facts mean nothing to you, for if they did you would not be supporting this evil conflict. Like you, they, those in control of this nation by illegal measures, haven't the sense the Lord gave a goose. I wrap you in with them because you are supporting our involvement in this conflict. Instead of fighting hard for a resolution. Not the stupid argument that is a childish argument, that this could all end if Russia just left. We forced this conflict to occur, and it will rapidly spin out of control.

Then you have the audacity to say we will say the same thing about Taiwan. Had we gotten involved with Mao back when he started his march across China enslaving the people. China was an ally and we deserted them. so, do not tell me about what we might or might not support, but wasting our efforts, does nothing to help the Taiwanese. In fact we have only increased China's ability to take Taiwan.

You think you are helping Ukraine. If you went to Ukraine and were able to communicate with them, you might find out that they are not happy at all with what you have done to their nation.

So, defend your position on supporting this usurper occupying the White House via a stolen election to our involvement in this conflict. I suggest our argument will be Russia invaded Ukraine, because that is the only argument you fools can say like the zombies you all are. You can't see that this was forced. I think Biden is actually being blackmailed, because Ukraine has all the goods on Biden & his grifting family.

So, justify why you are supporting Joe Biden in this conflict as well.

You spend so much time writing long posts of who someone is and what they think and what they supposedly support, it is childlike, and silly.
