To: Harmless Teddy Bear
My youngest niece was very fast so I used a harness and leash on her to keep her from darting out into traffic or other dangers. I got several long and loud lectures for doing so.

That's my 18 month old grandson. He's off like a shot through any open door. Make me REAL nervous.

Put a toddler in overalls during that escape artist phase. The straps are quick, sociably acceptable handle to grab onto. You can hold onto the back bib to steady and steer.

Get a leash. Providing his parents agree.

My niece is now working in Japan rather then being a name on a stone so I count all the grief I got for using the leash totally worth it.
