Love it, especially the coconut on top - a little goes a long way.

Unfortunately, most in my family are not chocolate lovers and prefer vanilla or fruit-based desserts.

Our middle daughter got married two years ago next week. Her wedding cake had a German Chocolate layer and it was SO good. So this story made me think of her wonderful wedding! Thanks.

Testing 1-2-3 chocolate cake was a code my dad used to do when he was operating a ham radio station out of a remote island in the Pacific and my mom would hear that on the shortwave at a specific time and know it was him. I thought that was kind of cute and I do remember that we got that radio signal pretty well even though he was thousands of miles away on the Tern island atoll.
