I've been a monthly contributor for many years. Not a large amount, just what I can afford to budget on a constant basis. Not having to remember to donate is more convenient and I don't forget, Paypal does it for me.
I just wish I could do more. I really depend on FR for news and opinions that aren't available anywhere else in such a simple, accessible format.
If I were JimRob I'd be getting pretty unhappy about the deterioration of the comments and the lack of support. Couldn't blame him if he pulled the plug, frankly, he can't be expected to lose money on it.
To see it go downhill so much with such an important election coming up is especially painful.
