I am taking a few moments from my European tour to report on an important update to the bird flu story that was breaking as I left the country: A man in Mexico had died of a new strain of avian influenza.
A new strain of bird flu has jumped to humans in an event that has ‘potential for high public health impact’, the World Health Organization has warned.
Officials say a 59-year-old man in Mexico died after battling a seven-day illness in which he suffered fever, shortness of breath, diarrhea and nausea.
Tests showed the man, who suffered multiple underlying conditions, was infected with a strain of bird flu called H5N2, marking the first time this type has ever been detected in humans.
Officials said any case of new bird flu strains spilling into humans risked an outbreak, but that in this case the risk was ‘low’ as there was no evidence of onward transmission.
The strain differs from the H5N1 bird flu that is currently tearing through dairy herds in the US and has already sickened three dairy farm workers.
I suspected that there would be a comorbidity associated with this death. It turns out I was half right: There were actually three.

Earlier this week, the World Health Organization reported the first laboratory-confirmed human case of infection with A(H5N2) avian influenza in Mexico.
In a Friday press conference in Geneva, WHO spokesman Christian Lindmeier described the man’s case as a “multifactorial death” and noted that experts were still investigating whether he was infected by someone or by contact with animals.
Mexico’s health ministry on Friday stressed that the 59-year-old man’s death was due to chronic conditions that led to septic shock, and was not attributed to the virus.
This is significant. International and American public health officials have been chomping at the bit to take the policy reigns again through pandemic response measures. For example, “Scarf Lady” and former White House Coronavirus advisor Dr. Deborah Birx was recently sounding the alarm about bird flu.
Deborah Birx, a physician who served as former President Trump’s coronavirus response coordinator, warned that the United States is making the “same mistakes” with the bird flu as it did with COVID-19.
“This is why I’m really concerned because we’re making the same mistakes today that we made with COVID. And what do I mean by that? We’re not testing to really see how many people have been exposed and got asymptomatically infected,” Birx told CNN’s Kasie Hunt on Tuesday.
…Birx said that every cow should be getting tested weekly for the bird flu, adding that there are likely some undetected cases in humans.
“We have the technology. The great thing about America is we’re incredibly innovative and we have the ability to have these breakthroughs,” she said.
“We could be pool testing every dairy worker. I do believe that there’s undetected cases in humans, because we’re once again only tracking people with symptoms. When we did that with COVID, the virus spread throughout the Northeast undetected, because it took a long time to get to the vulnerable individuals,” she added.
As a reminder, Birx has significant culpability for the enormous covid policy failures, as she used the AIDS playbook (which is spread by a bloodborne virus) for a pathogen spread via the respiratory system. Additionally, through stealth and bureaucratic manipulation, Birx countermanded President Donald Trump‘s orders to reopen the country after “15 days to slow the spread.”
And most of us remember vividly that covid death counts were manipulated, as comorbidities were discounted if someone died of covid with another adverse health condition.

We cannot afford to be fooled again by narrative “science” being used to push fake news, which is then used to drive destructive policies that put more power in the hands of globalist bureaucrats.

It looks like the narrative is forming for “Pandemic X” to be H5N1 or H5N2 “Bird Flu”.
Which will be treated as real to keep the fear porn going.
The only way to push the bird flu hysteria narrative is the same as Covid; mislabel every illness as bird flu.

People die of human H5N1 influenza A all the time.
Thousands have died since 1997.
However. Up until now (and still, as far as I can tell), secondary infections (acquired by close and prolonged contact) have little or no potential for tertiary spread.
That’s why thousands, and not tens of millions, have died.
If the virus has undergone antigenic shift of the neuraminidase protein (N1 to N2) a change in behavior is POSSIBLE, but the current pop-up cases here and there don’t prove that a human epidemic is happening, or is even possible.
So far, only hemagglutinins 1-3 (H1, H2, H3) have exhibited a high enough affinity for humans to cause pandemics (H1N1 in 1918 and 2009, H2N2 in 1957, and H3N2 in 1968).
If bird flu doesn’t become a thing expect governments to start spreading it
I believe everything in your statement. But, the issue is never the real issue. The real issue is always the marxist revolution. And the left wants the marxists at the WHO to control the world. That is why the marxists in the MSM and scarf lady Birx are trying to stir up the fear about bird flu.
