People die of human H5N1 influenza A all the time.

Thousands have died since 1997.

However. Up until now (and still, as far as I can tell), secondary infections (acquired by close and prolonged contact) have little or no potential for tertiary spread.

That’s why thousands, and not tens of millions, have died.

If the virus has undergone antigenic shift of the neuraminidase protein (N1 to N2) a change in behavior is POSSIBLE, but the current pop-up cases here and there don’t prove that a human epidemic is happening, or is even possible.

So far, only hemagglutinins 1-3 (H1, H2, H3) have exhibited a high enough affinity for humans to cause pandemics (H1N1 in 1918 and 2009, H2N2 in 1957, and H3N2 in 1968).

I believe everything in your statement. But, the issue is never the real issue. The real issue is always the marxist revolution. And the left wants the marxists at the WHO to control the world. That is why the marxists in the MSM and scarf lady Birx are trying to stir up the fear about bird flu.
