Ukraine Holds Chasiv Yar amid Russia's 'Disastrous' Canal Crossing—Reports

Ukrainian forces held their ground in the strategically important eastern Ukrainian town of Chasiv Yar as Russian troops are reported to have failed an attempt to cross a canal in the area.

The town, which had a pre-war population of more than 12,000, and is dissected by a canal, is located some 7 miles from the war-torn city of Bakhmut which was seized by Russian forces last May. The town in the Donetsk region has been the focus of Moscow's military since March.

I've just been examining his early 2022 Ukraine posts.

I wrote: "HE started in with the mockery and one-liner trolling."

It's true.

The reason I remember his Fox article posts is that I would go on those threads occasionally and yuck it up at FoxNews' expense.

When he switched his main troll to Ukraine, I recognized the pattern.

I finally got so sick of his trolling and his mockery that I give it to him right in the teeth now.

He loves the clicks, though - dopamine hits.

Getting news from Newsweek looks desperate to me. It reminds me of the pale look on Zelensky’s face over the last month. This war isn't about territory, it's a war of attrition. The Russians are spreading the Ukrainians out and grinding them down with glide bombs and artillery. One day people in the West will wake up to a total Ukrainian collapse. They won't see it coming because they get their news from Newsweek.
