One of the most memorable opening lines in an epic novel based on a real-life story. LOL.

It was just another Friday afternoon in Granby, Colorado when Marvin Hemeyer (sp?) pulled into town with his newly armored Caterpiller D5. The citizens of Granby acknowledged with gratitude his thoughtfulness in waiting for businesses to close before he began to doze.

Oh, my. The memories of this are rich. Every so often there is a story that defies history. I must have a warped sense of humor, because this one still makes me laugh.
