Top Republican Tom Cole Who Protected Adam Schiff from Censure Faces 'Serious' Challenger
The Western Journal, MSN ^ | none given | C. Douglas Golden

Well, this is what happens when, as a Republican, you protect one of Congress' most notorious Democratic liars while voting against conservative interests in important spots: You get primaried -- and by someone with money to spend.

Oklahoma Rep. Tom Cole, chair of the House Appropriations Committee, is facing several primary challengers -- but one sticks out, according to the Oklahoma Voice: Paul L. Bondar, which the outlet called "a newcomer with deep pockets who recently moved into the state."

Yeah Paul Bodnar is a fat carpetbagger from Texas, but what is worse a rino who supports radical Adam Schiff.

I always liked him until now.

1) It’s old age.
2) Been around too long-just like the rest of them.

Money doesn’t always tell the whole story, but when one candidate (Cole) has millions and the other (Bodnar) has almost literally nothing....

Cole is one of the poster boys for the GOPe, helping recruit numerous anti-conservative Republicans for House seats over the years while in charge of the NRCC.

And if some unwashed conservative accidentally wins a primary in a marginal district, Cole and his ilk see to it that the conservative is repeatedly backstabbed while they also quietly support the Democrat in the general election. Cole’s defeat in the upcoming primary in 3 weeks would be glorious, but it doesn’t appear to be very likely at all irrespective of any amount of wishful thinking.

I am in a different Oklahoma US district with a different RINO! It’s disgusting that a red state like Oklahoma is still saddled with these clowns, The power of incumbency is strong.

Any Republican who protected Adam Schiff needs to be gone. Adam Schiff has to be one of the worst politicians in Congress.

Chair of the Appropriations committee is one of the most powerful people in DC, or at least historically they were, before guaranteed funding via endless continuing resolutions. Nevertheless, it would send a strong message to primary one out of congress.

The intelligence demonstrated by most of the posters in this thread is astounding. A few points:

1. Trump endorsed Cole.

2. Bondar lives in Rockwall, Texas and is married to an obviously wealthy Dallas girl. Look up the house in Texas.

3. He rented a house in Oklahoma just to run in the election.

4. It is my understanding he is actually from Illinois.

Now if you are from Oklahoma or live in that district you have the right to vote for a candidate other than Cole, but you shouldn’t be so certain that the fat assed Bondar is actually a Trump supporter, Conservative or even a real Republican. The democrats have realized they can’t run as democrats in Oklahoma any longer and have been finding closet democrats and leftist to pose as Trump supporters hoping to steal a few elections. I’ll remind you of our current Attorney General Drummond and the former Secretary of Education and democrat governor candidate Joy Hofmeister.

Wrong on all counts....

1. Trump endorsed Cole in 2022 when he was UNCONTESTED. Bondar filed over a year later. Trump also endorsed Opie Lankford....how'd that work out?

2. Bondar has multiple homes in the state, one of which has been under construction for over a year (which will be his permanent residence).

3. He rented a house while his home is under construction, genius.

4. He's actually from Wisconsin, lived in Louisiana and then Texas, but since Cole can't run on his record...won't be able to use the "residence card" again.

....but you closet dems can celebrate. Obama-Biden's rubber stamp for Ukraine gets another two years to bend us over. Congrats!

Lard butt Bondar perfectly illustrates that a fool and his wife’s money are soon parted. Did he accomplish anything for his five million dollars spent just to get roughly a quarter of the vote?

What in Hell is the point of endorsing someone that is running unopposed? You tell me. Why does Trump’s endorsement mean something until he endorses someone you don’t support and then it’s meaningless? And what does Lankford have to do with it?

If Bondar has multiple homes in Oklahoma why was it necessary for him to rent one? Genius. Could it be they are all shacks? Want to bet he continues to live in his wife’s Rockwall mansion?

Bondar is a mud slinging, carpet bagging, damn Yankee that decided he wanted to skip a few steps and be a congressman. He was dishonest in his actions and showed just exactly what he is.

Half-wits like you are representative of what has happened to this forum. You don’t know Oklahoma or our politics and if truth were known you are probably a Russian agent working to help Putin.

Cry more, commie. I guess reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit. Wipe the spittle from your chin and put down your beer goggles. You might learn something.

First, you clueless DUmbass...I’ve lived in Oklahoma likely longer than you’ve been alive. Cole was in my district when he was first elected, and soon after showed his true colors as a turncoat....so much so, his district borders needed to be pushed further south as the area (that would have had the best opportunity to have voted him out long ago) grew in population. His days are numbered and he knows it, which is why he used a swampy DC PAC rather than local donations to fund all his TV and radio spots.

What you’re saying is that you hate someone not beholden to dirty money and prefer a DC swamp rat...you love Cole because he’s a CAREER POLITICIAN who sells his office once elected, takes dirty swamp money in exchange for his vote (for decades) and maintains permanent ties in DC rather than Oklahoma so that he can be closest to the power that he craves.

In his current position, Cole is nothing more than a rubber stamp for more bribes and kickbacks funneled through Ukraine and keeping Adam Schiff protected from prosecution in exchange for increasing his bank account (but pay no attention to how much it became flush with cash since he’s been in politics).

But in case you missed it, Oklahomans are taking it back (check out those incumbents ousted in the statehouse). For a total newcomer to politics like Bondar to take more than a fourth of the vote in a crowded field against a 20-plus-year incumbent DC swamp rat scares the $hit out of the RINO class....so I can see why he’d piss off the leftists who resort to accept personal attacks against an opponent rather than promote your closet-democrat RINO’s record of siding with pedophile Adam Schiff and other democrats. Cole should be proud enough of his background to promote it, but started the “mud-slinging” slander of saying Bondar didn’t meet the residency requirements without any evidence.

I don’t know Oklahoma politics? But can spot closet democrat trash a mile away, using the EXACT same attacks as dems use:

“...you are probably a Russian agent working to help Putin.”

Is that you again, Hillary? Shut it already! All the Dems seeing Russian agents just deflecting from their own corruption with foreign agents. Closet Democrats who can’t run on a record always dive into superficial personal attacks that they, themselves are guilty of. Dems love the class warfare angle, so thanks for doubling down again and removing all doubt, dipshit. The fact that Cole played that up, says more about him and his loyalties to the democrat DC playbook.

What does Lankford have to do with it? Besides being a Dallas-born “carpetbagger” propped up by pedo-loving Baptists and moving here from Texas to run for office, Opie Lankford is just another reason Trump should have stayed out of Oklahoma endorsements rather than promote any of them, like Adam Schiff’s butt boy, Tom Cole...but that doesn’t bother you much since Cole pushes through all the funding for the democrat agenda for Biden-Obama.

Since you decided to go full-blown hypocrite, I’m sure you’re a fan of another career RINO that’s out of the closet...that dumbass Mullin who not only reneged on his promise to only run two terms, but continues to be one of Oklahoma’s biggest embarrassments. Mullin claims no wrong-doing when he sold daddy’s businesses AFTER getting elected - but nevermind the fact that he took a profit of 1.4 million from PPP loans while sitting in congress. All was perfectly okay since he also “skipped a few steps” from running his daddy’s businesses into the dirt to be elected to the House before using that position as a stepping stone for becoming another Senator we need to be rid of.

You’re a lying fool. Or maybe you are Bondar?

Bondar spent over five million of his wife’s money to get less than 26% of the vote. According to the Oklahoma Election board he received 16,120 votes which comes out as over $310 per vote. He tried to buy an election and failed miserably. Doesn’t seem to be very responsible when it comes to spending money. Of course like most politicians it wasn’t his.

You keep bringing up other Oklahoma office holders like that is the subject of the conversation. It is obvious you don’t like any of them but this is all about Bondar. He started slinging mud right off the bat and then got caught up in the lies about his place of abode. Give me a break. What else was he lying about?
