China delivered a devastating blow to Russia's economic prospects after refusing to commit to a Kremlin deal over future gas exports.
The Kremlin saw its gas revenues severely hit by its decision to invade Ukraine, as European countries started to introduce bans on Russian energy exports in the aftermath of the war.
Gas and oil pipeline flows to Europe have plummeted by more than eighty percent since 2022, with the state energy company Gazprom taking a US$6.9billion (£5.4billion) hit to its finances.

Maybe the “talking points” are facts?
The case we are dealing with is a report on the state of China-Russia gas negotiations. Is this a “talking point”?
You are discussing a matter wherein everyone involved is a foreigner.
I know it doesn’t matter to you to be incoherent, but there we go.
Let me help you. We're Americans and you are from Spain. Your country is insignificant and so are you.
[...government spending and investment related to the war, as well as higher consumer spending in a tight labour market...]
Government spending (to replace lost equipment), higher consumer spending (inflation), tight labor market (conscripted workers killed). Yea, sounds like it’s going well for Russia. I’m happy for you.
What State are you from?
Loving the new zeeper follies ping graphics. 😂
The KGB had a department that inserted identical lies in various countrys’ intelligence files. The stupid CIA would accept these lies because they came from multiple sources. Multiple sources is a stupid way to evaluate intelligence.

Sex Bomb?
Just air-dropping millions of photoshops of H(e)llary with Rosie O’Donnell would destroy Russian men’s sex drive for years.
I think Russias economy is hurting, as is demonstrated by the fact that Putin recently fired his defense secretary and replaced him with an economist. The oil refineries are burning. Putin is selling his oil at below market prices to China and North Korea. Most of the nations economic production is going to the war. A large portion of the working male population is in the army being shot at in Ukraine.
That said, Russia is no more on the brink of economic collapse than Ukraine is.
and maybe the report here isn’t fact. I discount it because of the channel reporting it and because there is a lot of made up lies about what is going on. So I believe non of it, especially since I don’t care whether or not it is true. We don’t have a vital national interest at stake here.
Funny how he doesn’t seem to get around to posting the articles on China now FORMALLY BACKING RUSSIA against Ukraine. Seems to me that, with China now supporting Russia, the rest of the war will just be a formality.
The story is a bunch of baloney. China needs gas more than Russia needs to sell it and nobody will build a pipeline under such conditions.
