Just some quick thoughts for anyone who has interactions with democrats in regular life:
For all the talk about Trump being a "convicted criminal", I can't help but be reminded of how in the late 1990s, the democrats were quick to circle the wagons around Bill Clinton and defend him against obstruction of justice and perjury charges. The democrats' claim was since the charges arose from Clinton trying to keep his sex life private, he shouldn't have to pay any legal consequences.
Now, the democrats are trying to get Donald Trump, a man who will be 78 in less than 2 weeks with no criminal history, sent to Rikers Island, a prison considered one of the most dangerous in America for breaking the law to keep his sex life private. The only problem is that the crime is the same crime that the Hillary Clinton campaign committed in calling paying for the Steele Dossier and labeling that a legal expense. The Clinton Campaign and the DNC had to pay a combined $113,000 in fines and there were no jail time for anyone.
In 1998/1999, no democrats in the House voted to impeach Bill Clinton. No democrat Senators, including current Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Majority Whip Richard Durbin, or our current President Joe Biden, then a senator from Delaware, voted to convict Clinton, all because "it's about sex".
Ol' "Three Bites" Schumer got three bites at the Clinton impeachment apple.
"Nay" as a member of the US House Judiciary committee.
"Nay" as a member of the full US House vote.
"Nay" as a member of the US Senate [elected to the US Senate in 1998].
Yes.
Remember “everyone lies about sex”
And “it’s the economy, stupid”
There’s not really any hypocrisy, the left has superior tactics vs the right. The left wins at all cost, while the right plays reconciliation.
it is all part of Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.” Hold your opponent to a higher standard then beat him over the head with it.
It is required reading for all Conservatives as it is the Leftists playbook which they religiously follow. If you understand the playbook, you will understand how to get rid of lefties.
Forcing your opponent to live by their own rules is the surest way to reveal their hypocrisy.
Bill Clinton was impeached for entirely the wrong reasons, and in doing so, poisoned the impeachment process forever. He actually committed what could be called REAL treason, by revealing a number of state secrets to the Communist Chinese to make political gains. Much like the current regime now squatting in the Oval Office.
But none dare call it treason.
Rules for Criminals destroying the republic. TREASON.
Thanks - that was too good to pass up so it’s now posted as “From a FReeper” on Gab, Truth and X...
Be thankful you haven't been arrested and thrown into a re-education camp.
I once naively thought calling out Ds hypocrisy would be noticed by all, embarrass them and end it. Honor would prevail
Instead, Ds hypocrisy continues, daily, because they feel democratics are the chosen ones, with media to protect them. Anything goes for the chosen.
Fairness and honor have nothing to do with this. We must deal with it until we fix it, which can and will be done in November.
BILL Clinton? Geez, @ least use something a BIT more recent/relevant
HILLARY Clinton - Hiding payments via 3rd party for the Russian disinformation dossier let alone all the crimes Comey laid out v. her ILLEGAL e-mail server
A. Fauci - Congressional testimony perjury, funding ‘gain of function’ via NIH
Then you have Joe Biden, ‘too old/senile to prosecute’...ZERO calls from ANY of the (R)N(C) vs. the ‘Nobody above the Law’ farce party
The (R)N(C) cult members will continue to vote the faux dichotomy as they watch their known feckless elected officials aide in the destruction of our Const. Republic crying, “HOW could this (be) happen(ing)?” w/o a hint of irony/self-reflection
I personally hope Joe DOES win...& when the economy, like their 401Ks+, tank & they can get the govt they voted/allowed often, fast & HARD. *shrug* Maybe we can restore the Republic after
You are correct in all your points.
