I would object to an American or Israeli flag painted on the street in the first place something disrespectful about such a thing, but that's just me.

Are you sure you are talking about this one? Sounds like the Florida case if Florida. St Petersburg I believe it was. This video was about one in Spoken Washington, where the crosswalk set on fire. I can expect the action in Spoken, but not Florida. I guess DeSantis thinks what happen in Florida deserves a felony charge for doing donuts on a gay flag representation painted on the street.
