Japan lawmakers want govt to guard against security risks of UFOs

Two former Japanese defence ministers are among a group of lawmakers planning to form a nonpartisan parliamentary grouping to urge the government to look into unidentified flying objects, founder members said.

Opposition lawmaker Yoshiharu Asakawa cited findings last year by the U.S. government's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) set up to handle such issues, adding that Japan lacked a similar body.

"According to what AARO announced in 2023, there had been many reports of UAP sightings in the skies over Japan," he said, using a term, unidentified anomalous phenomena, often used to describe such events.

"If they turn out to be cutting-edge weapons from other countries or unmanned reconnaissance planes ... they can be a serious threat to our country's security," Asakawa added.

He was speaking to a meeting of founders of the group, which includes former Defence Ministers Yasukazu Hamada and Shigeru Ishiba.

"We will be urging the government to set up a dedicated entity to improve Japan's information gathering and analysis capabilities regarding UAP, and to deepen cooperation with the United States on the matter," Asakawa added.

They know! Having dealt with Rhodan, Mothra, and Godzilla, they have earned the right to keep it safe.

Eighty years of UFOs—and the Japanese are going to study the “threat” now.

This is getting to be a comedy act.

I put the following question to Perplexity AI and their answer is below. Perplexity is an AI platform that replaces Google Seach. It provides links (at site) for its answers.
QUESTION:

Has Japan had problems with UAP/UFO sightings (that they believe might be technologies from their adversaries)?

ANSWER:

Based on the provided search results, Japan appears to have experienced a significant number of UAP/UFO sightings, particularly in certain regions like western and southern Japan, around the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as in the Fukushima area. However, there is no clear indication from the search results that Japan believes these sightings are related to adversarial technologies.

Key Points

The Pentagon has revealed a global map of UAP/UFO "hotspots" based on data from 1996-2023, showing Japan as having the highest concentration of sightings, especially in western and southern regions near Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Fukushima.

A Japanese UFO research group called International UFO Lab has analyzed hundreds of reported sightings and identified six cases from locations like Kobe and Fukushima as being highly likely genuine UFOs.

The search results do not explicitly state that Japan suspects these sightings are due to technologies from adversaries. The focus seems to be more on investigating the phenomena as potential extraterrestrial visitations.

While some countries like the U.S. have historically been more secretive about UFO incidents, Japan has recently shifted to a more open policy of visually recording UAP encounters per instructions from the defense minister in 2020.

Aside from the concentration around nuclear sites, other global hotspots mentioned include the southeastern U.S. and an area of the Middle East covering Iraq and Syria, where unexplained UFO incidents have been documented by the U.S. military.

So in summary, while Japan emerges as an unexpected UAP/UFO hotspot according to Pentagon data, there is no evidence provided that Japan views these sightings as potential adversary technologies specifically. The focus seems to be more on studying the phenomena as potentially extraterrestrial in nature.

A useless article. Just try going down to All State or State Farm and get anti-UFO insurance. They stare at you like you’re nuts. The one that really puzzled them was the “UFO Abduction Clause” I wanted added whereby I get $250,000 if I am abducted and get the (unlubricated) anal treatment. They don’t offer it!

UFOs are as dangerous as climate change. Both myths, but both just as dangerous. Ghosts are in the same category, and people have died because of ghosts and evil spirits taking over their lives.

Well, at least they have "gone public now" with what they are doing. Who knows what they have done in secret.

After their experience with Rodan, Godzilla, and Mothra, I think they are far ahead of the rest of the world.😎

The problem is that they have been lying for eighty years—they have zero credibility.

Do you allow people to lie to you for years and then start paying attention to what they say?

I don’t.

An air wing was recently moved from Langley AFB because of unidentified "drones" (i.e., UAPs/UFOs). They called them drones because they couldn't identify what the hell they were. They are a little more factual than climate change.

See this:

Mystery drones swarmed Langley Air Force Base for weeks (Washington Examiner)

(Excerpt)

Unmanned drones flew around Langley Air Force Base in Virginia for several weeks last December, U.S. Air Force officials confirmed on Friday.

The drones were first noted on Dec. 6, 2023, according to officials, and fluctuated in size and configuration. It is unclear whether the drones also swarmed nearby defense facilities during this time, such as the U.S. Army’s Fort Eustis.

All governments lie. I don't necessarily believe any of them.

But I do listen when they speak because occasionally they slip up and tell the truth (sort of).

Re: another issue, Dr. Garry Nolan just admitted he was threatened by someone from the government if he didnt shut-up about a UFO-related issue he had discussed on air. Same for Lue Elizondo.

Very interesting: “Japan as having the highest concentration of sightings, especially in western and southern regions near Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Fukushima.”

All three of those sites have a long and deep history of nuclear events.

They need a Photon Torpedo Defense System. Acme Co makes a good one that is endorsed by Professor Coyote.

From my review of Garry Nolan's comments, here's my basic conclusion:

Based on the transcript of That UFO Podcast (Garry Nolan, guest), it seems Nolan was threatened by someone from the government for the way he was publicly discussing and talking about the UFO/UAP issue. The key details are:

Dr. Nolan received a phone call from someone in or representing the government, warning him to "be careful how I was talking about things."

He states it was a direct threat, and the first time he felt it was "getting personal" in terms of potential consequences for his public UFO/UAP comments and discussions.

He does not provide specifics on exactly what was said in the threat, but it clearly shook him and made him realize there were people who did not want him speaking openly about this topic in the way he had been.

This seems related to the threats that his colleague Lue Elizondo has also stated he and other UFO whistleblowers have received against themselves and their families for coming forward.

So in summary, while Dr. Nolan did not disclose the exact nature of the UFO/UAP issue he was threatened over, the transcript indicates he was explicitly warned and threatened by someone from the government about the way he was publicly addressing and discussing the UFO/UAP phenomenon and related matters.

The Dark Journalist (Daniel Liszt) claims that there has been a government/private collaboration to protect the UFO secrets since the 1940s.

In UFOlogy they are often called Majestic.

He calls them ProtectX.

The X is secret technology of all sorts—alien, human, or joint.

The secret technology is not just “flying stuff”. It includes mind control/influencing as well and control/influence of what we call “time”.

Their tactics range from disinformation and propaganda techniques all the way to murder.

Any public figure who claims they are doing “disclosure” who refuses to discuss that history is either badly out of the loop or lying.

Grusch has talked about it—Elizondo (to my knowledge) has not.

“Opposition lawmaker Yoshiharu Asakawa cited findings last year by the U.S. government’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) set up to handle such issues, adding that Japan lacked a similar body.”

Yeah, that’s the ticket! Japan needs to copy the incentives of the US by establishing an office to track things we can’t catch, or admit to, that if they exist have traveled light years to get here and are compassionate enough to let us live when we can’t even find an observation balloon that traveled from Hawaii, to Alaska, and right through the middle of the US at astounding speeds until it parked over our defense locations. (Then let it go to another location) Good thought Japan. I guess they are upset they missed out on the Salem witch tribunals and are making it up with this step forward.
