De Niro looked and sounded insane. I hope that clip gets replayed on a loop.
De Niro did bring up something that should be revisited. He accused Trump of being a coward for hiding in the bomb shelter during the violent BLM attack on the WH. It would be good to see the video and recount the many injuries suffered by cops and the secret service that day. Not to mention BLM burned the church across from the WH. The next day the crowd was moved back with tear gas and Trump made his defiant bible picture.

Hollywood is losing influence and they don’t like it. My understanding of what he said is: Yes We have rampant crime. Yes our taxes are out of control. Yes people are scared of the streets. But we are New Yorkers, like Trump, and we expect it. We don’t want it spread to the rest of the country.
