Last week's episode of the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce received quite a bit of attention (even for arguably the most famous siblings in sports right now).
There has been some backlash to both brothers from a portion of the population who believe they should have thrown their weight behind Butker wholeheartedly.
Jason spoke out towards that audience on Monday morning via his X (formerly Twitter) account. Specifically against those who are calling his wife, Kylie, a "homemaker" and because of that he should support Butker. The tweet is below, along with a full transcription:
“Responding to this, because I have seen a number of people say it. I don’t think of Kylie as a homemaker, I think of her as my wife. I think of her as a mother. She has an occupation, as do I, and we keep our house the best we can. Our marriage is a partnership, we are equals who are figuring it out on the daily. The only expectation is that we love each other, support one another, and are committed to our family, that comes first. We both raise our kids, we both work, We both keep our home. It is both our faults it is messy, but such is life with 3 young children, busy schedules, and neither of us being neat freaks. She also makes a mean sandwhich.
If being a homemaker, works for some, and that’s what they want, then hell yea, that’s awesome, more power to you. I want to be clear, I’m not downplaying that at all, but that is not our family dynamic.”

Are those real jobs or sinecures?
As I read and understand Butker’s commencement speech, the two of them are in agreement.
The lefties are trying to stir up controversy. Scr#w them.
This is just getting stupid. Radical, hate filled feminism is destructive.
A homemaker is a wife and a mother who has chosen as her occupation of being one that endeavors to make a home for the inhabitants of that home. To provide a clean environment, where love & nurturing is her goal in making that home the best of all possible worlds.
The father is the provider, but he too also has a role in the home as well, and that is to support & assist the homemaker in her endeavor to make the home the best of all possible worlds.
To offer up that the word homemaker as something that denigrates the homemaker, is to not understand what a family relies upon to make the home the best of all possible worlds.
In reality, both parents in that kind of environment are homemakers in their own rights. But their roles are slightly different. Unless a home has two homemakers, than the home is not the best of all possible worlds.
The homemakers will be passing off that to their children, which in turn makes for a better society.
It's not an easy task for both adults to be homemakers, which is why many homes are so dysfunctional.
Both Kelce brothers would benefit by ceasing to comment publicly on this issue. The whole nation is not waiting to hear from them on it. Hold fast, and stop taking that bait every single time.
Anything good and wholesome, like Harrison’s family and his speech, is like Holy water, to the Demon Left.
Modern feminism is a Communist pogrom.
I’m sure he’s trade his wife for Taylor.
Huh?
I think the point is that, the takeaway from the Butker speech for both leftists and those who agree with him - is a very narrow understanding of homemaking and how else wives and mothers can contribute without holding stereotypical full time jobs.
*I’m sure he’s trade
Huh?*
Sorry pal it’s “he’d” trade his wife for her.
My bad? No. I’m hoping you’d get the gist.
Nah, I don't read gist. How hard is it to proof read what you are typing before you initiate the spell check function before posting?
Interpreting "gist" shouldn't require several readings of a sentence to figure out what the poster is trying to say.
Rant over, carry on.......
Something tells me that when it comes to Taylor Swift you wouldn’t.
Are you one that prefers the company of other men?
Is anyone else as SICK of hearing about the Kelce brothers, as me?
Wish they’d go away!
It wouldn't surprise me if he has a maid and/or a chef.
Jason Kelce is supposed to be worth around $30 million.
Their mother gets on my nerves too.
