The post is to present to the Free Republic assemblage of great technical thinkers a concept that seems to be an improbable and irrational prospect but is in fact a real conundrum. A generator has been created that produces the electric wattage to drive an electric motor that causes the rotor of the generator to spin and produce the electric current. Not only does the generator produce the power to run the motor, but it produces a considerable excess for other electric devices. The generator produces free energy, forever.

As a scientist, the producer chose an elegantly simple collection of new magnets assembled with a magnetically modified electric motor and another electric motor for what amounts to an experiment. His video is an invitation to those so inclined to make the effort to duplicate his hypothesis and results. The video headline says he used an auto alternator but that seems to be incorrect.
The experiment uses the rotor from an old Headon Diaphragm pump motor to which he glues strong neodymium permanent magnets in reversed polarity around the circumference. The brushed rotor is simply fastened to a simple wooden board with a glue gun. At the side of the rotor, a strong toroidal magnet is glued to the board. An electric motor is positioned such that a belt drive connects the motor to the generator.
In a test, the rotor is turned with an electric drill and seemingly unbelievable, the meter indicates 220 volts. The generator is connected to a multiple strip outlet into which the motor is plugged. A drill, a grinder and some light bulbs are also plugged in. The rotor is flipped generating a current thar runs the motor

I forgot to mention that most of these “free energy” systems that drive 120 volt AC lights and motors use a car alternator. This in itself makes it a physical impossibility. The way a car alternator works is that it is essentially an AC generator that converts the power it generates to DC current. You lose power just doing that conversion. And, if you are going to convert that DC power back to AC power to run 120v devices, you will lose another 10 percent or so with that conversion also.

I have already designed a free energy generator and started assembling it in my garage. It runs by turning two opposing disks of unipole magnets, one disk negative, one disk positive. It rotates on levitating axles powered by the coriolis effect of the earth’s rotation. The electricity generated is transferred via room temperature superconducting metallic hydrogen bus bars and is stored in an alternating current, (AC) salt water xenon hydride batteries. I just need a massive government grant to finish.
Am I to understand that, to save his contemptible life sell his bogus tech, he dared to practice on our credulous simplicity?

Wired to a battery— to run the coil of the dynamo/magneto.... “continuous” power for as long as the battery lasts. When drained... it’s over with.

I first thought of this when I started Engineering at a university. I was quickly informed by many folks that ideas for perpetual motion machines are perpetually wrong.
Please tell us you are pulling our leg. This is so obviously stupid and fake. “Car dynamo” no, it is an 12v RV water pump motor. And the little dc motor with the timing belt gear is just being spun by batteries in the wall wart. 207”volts” of what? I don’t know that meter model but let’s pretend it works and it indeed read “207 volts. Let’s assume AC. A simple battery powered inverter can easily be hidden in that power strip to get that reading. Open up the cases of the power tools and hide a battery in there with a few cheap motors to make it spin and all the plug does is close the circuit. Obviously the guy has access to a bunch of old power tools and motors. Probably has a repair shop and likes to play around in his spare time as an electrical “magician” to entertain and baffle the villagers.
Notice he never unplugs the feeder plug? Because if he did the power tools would keep running. It is producing noting. It is just completing the circuit to the small motor run by the batteries (maybe kicking on a transistor or relay). All the magnets are doing is providing enough force to overpower the torque of the smaller electrical motor hence he gives it the little push ( like what a starter relay does in any AC motor).

Significant? Of course not. But, because this is the case it shows that this sort of move (gravity sling) cannot be an example of why perp motion machines COULD work.

but the magnet must MOVE across wires to generate energy - what powers the movement? It’s what a generator does. All of these are scams. Think about it. If it worked we’d have free energy. It isn’t hard to prove...if it worked nothing could stop everyone from doing it.
