So, they are hybrid's. I actually think that is a wise choice, instead of depending on an all electric Fire Engine that might not be able to reach your house in time needed.

But why in the heck are they going from San Diego to Portland an then to Abq.? Those are the locations where a so-called EV firetruck is being touted as zero-emission. This truck will be new to ABQ when delivered.
