Louisville Metro Police releases video of the incident involving PGA Golfer Scottie Scheffler. The black Lexus you see going around the bus is Scheffler. You also see the officer running him down and arresting him
I thought the cop said he was dragged?
I think Chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel has apologized as well. When are charges being dropped? And hopefully he sues because this was a distraction, cost him.
Thought I read yesterday that Officer Butthurt claimed pants were damaged from being dragged.
Scheffler didn’t look like he was speeding through the checkpoint. Didn’t see anyone being dragged in the video either.
Pro tip though: Do not grab on to moving cars. If you do, you might get a Darwin Award. Sure your surviving family will get to see it proudly displayed on the mantle, but they might miss you more. Or maybe not.
The arresting officer lied and should be fired and face criminal charges for lying.
It’s not unheard of for an officer to ‘over embellish’ the arrest report—especially if he overreacted.
When cops lie to you, they’re praised and rewarded for engaging in good investigative technique.
If you lie to the cops (or innocently make a mistake, or even make a true statement that the cops disagree with), you get prosecuted for a felony: lying to the cops.
That’s how Martha Stewart ended up in prison. Now she’s hangin’ out with Snoop Dawg ...
They will need to drop the charges and admit this was a misunderstanding and over reaction by the copper.
For sure
The Cop was supposed to have his body camera turned on and he did not.
Dragged, or in drag?
How do we know they are just saying that since it did not corroborate his arrest report?
Just like the cameras weren’t working when Epstein supposed committed suicide.
Looked like officer fat azz tried to hip check a barely moving vehicle.
