I’ve seen them a number of times when camping in the summer in Canada - Eh - and one time when I was a kid in Winter in Sun Prairie.
Dad woke me up in the middle of the night to see them. It was just a lot of ‘green ribbons’ in the sky that time, BUT a small flock of Snow Geese also flew over in formation in the night sky and that was d@mn cool! They were HUGE and flying very low. Magical. :)
