Julia ReJean Moorhead, 36, was filmed hurling abuse at the police before lying down and thrashing around in the street in an unsuccessful bid to prevent her arrest. (snip)
Moorhead is seen sitting outside the premises swigging from a carton of water in a seemingly combative mood.
A hotel worker describes to police how she fell over in the lobby and started 'going crazy' after staff tried to ascertain if she was staying at the hotel. (snip)
As the cops approach asking if she has had 'too much of a good time', Moorhead immediately goes on the offensive and barks that she doesn't know why they have been called. (snip)
Eventually the hotel manager steps in and asks if she can be removed from the property due to the scene she is causing.
But this only infuriates Moorhead more and she throws herself to the ground to prevent them moving her. (snip)
She finally gets up and storms across the road shouting profanities, before wheeling around and striking one of the officers.
The rest of the cops then pile on top of her and slap her in cuffs as she wails and protests. (snip)
Eventually she is bundled towards the car but continues to thrash around like a toddler in a tantrum, making it impossible for cops to load her in.
She is finally dragged kicking and screaming onto the back seat of the vehicle by police on the other side of the car who managed to haul her through.
Her boyfriend then appears and pleads with cops to be 'gentle' with her.
'Be gentle? She's kicking and punching us. We were very nice to her the whole time. There is no being gentle anymore. It's done,' one cop retorts.

I think her new nickname is Karen.
Someone at the Daily Mirror doesn’t know the difference between “lie” and “lay.”
I think that’s a British thing.
“Women who don’t bear children and oppose the patriarchy are generally miserable, unhappy people.”
There’s definitely something in that.
‘Lay’ has become acceptable in either use here as well. I’ve stopped making the distinction.
I think she’s a prostitute....
They were trying to send a possibility impaired woman to cross traffic?
Wow.
Liability
I will say that was the nicest display of cleavage on an arrestee I have seen.
At least the crazy plane lady wasn’t abusive and non-compliant. This woman was an obnoxious snot.
Grammatical error in headline: FAIL!

Nowadays, LEOs are expected to display superhuman levels of patience and exercise incredible restraint!
Regards,
Nope. Confusing various different tenses of the two separate verbs "to lie" (meaning "to repose") and "to lay" (meaning "to place down") is an ignorant thing.
Probably started because the Imperfect Tense of the verb "to lie" is "lay" - which can be mistaken for the Present Tense of the verb "to lay."
Still inexcusable!
Regards,
It hasn't become "acceptable."
Rather, the mistake has merely become widespread - like the confusion regarding "its" and "it's."
Regards,
I’ve never paid much attention, but see it now. Thanks.
“Shocking moment Louis Vuitton-toting woman, 36,...”
That is an Yves Saint Lauren purse not Louis Vuitton. Therefore it is fake news.
