Was on this tour some years ago, George and Ringo grew up in poverty, while John and Paul grew up in reletively prosperous households.

‘Rubber Soul’ is still my favorite album of theirs, but that ‘1’ album with all the hits? Great for parties. Or cleaning the house! :)

Not a big fan of The Beatles post-Revolver.
Anything up to 1966 by The Beatles ranks among the best pop music ever made. They were one of the tightest bands ever.
Once they stopped touring together and only worked in the studio, they lost something.

One of the songs on the LP "Magical Mystery Tour" is
Blue Jay Way, the Beatles' only song about Los Angeles. The street signs for Blue Jay Way, a residential street in the Hollywood Hills, are periodically stolen, presumably by Beatlemaniacs.

No, The White Album and Abbey Road are the best.

I could be the Walrus - I’d still have to bum rides off of people.

40 years of Beatles fatigue… I’d rather do the Venom and Motörhead tour.

40 years of Beatles fatigue As a huge Beatles fan, I am fatigued as well. They've squeezed every last molecule of juice out of it.

And here we have:
Magical Misery Tour from the National Lampoon Dinner Album.
The inspiration for this satire of Lennon was an interview he had recently given Rolling Stone, where he F-bombed all over the place. Reportedly, nearly all of the lyrics in this satiric song are Lennon's own words from that single interview.

I spent a couple of days walking around Liverpool a few years back, Lotta fun. I never did find out if the White Piano at the Beatles exhibit was the same one John had played on his album.
