Utah mom sues AstraZeneca, claiming she was left ‘permanently disabled’ in COVID vaccine trial

A Utah mother who says she was “permanently disabled” after taking part in the US clinical trial of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine is suing the drug manufacturer because it failed to cough up enough cash to cover her medical expenses.

Brianne Dressen, 42, was “the picture of good health” when she started the British-made vaccine’s clinical trial in 2020 — but ended up developing a severe neurological condition, the lawsuit filed Monday alleges.

“I walked into the clinic fine, and walked out the beginning of a nightmare I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy,” Dressen said, per the court papers.

The former teacher developed side effects just hours after being injected with the vaccine, including arm tingles, blurred vision, a headache, ringing ears and vomiting, according to the court filing.

Some of the symptoms worsened and spread to her legs before she discovered she had developed paresthesia — a neurological condition in which nerves are irritated, the suit charges.

After being hospitalized a handful of times, Dressen said, she was diagnosed with “post-vaccine neuropathy” by National Institutes of Health neurologists in 2021.

The mom of two has accused AstraZeneca of breaching its contract by failing to provide adequate compensation to cover the costs of the medical bills associated with her side effects, which she says have “skyrocketed” in the years since taking the vaccine.

She claims she had signed a consent form with the manufacturer at the beginning of the trial that said AstraZeneca would “pay the costs of medical treatment for research injuries, provided that the costs are reasonable, and you did not cause the injury yourself,” the suit says.

Dressen, however, said AstraZeneca only offered her a one-time payment of $1,243.30.

why would you want to be involved with such a study? You kinda did this to yourself. I doubt AZ held a gun to your head.

This was not some innocent victim of an experimental vaccine that was forced on her.

She was a voluntary participant in a clinical trial.

I honestly have no sympathy for people like this. It's not like she was dreadfully sick and decided to try an experimental treatment as a last resort. What she did was basically the equivalent of jumping out of an airplane with an experimental parachute.

“AstraZeneca only offered her a one-time payment of $1,243.30”

$1,243 for a lifetime, it’s not even enough to pay for the coffin.

My first and only flu shot 16 years ago caused my legs to tingle/shake.
To this day I can still slightly feel it.
When I blamed the shot my doctor thought I was nuts.
Never Again

Ahh, they've given it a name! It may be my wife's malady.

My wife and I both recovered from COVID in November 2020, before the vaxx came out. I told her that we would not need it, having natural immunity, and declined to take it. She chose to Believe MSNBC, Fauci and Biden instead. Within ten days after her third jab she developed Parkinson’s type symptoms, loss of balance and bouts of dementia. She had several falls, one of which resulted in surgery for an elbow fracture. She’s now in long term care; the meds slow the progression but show no improvement. She’s had COVID twice more. I have not had it, even in close contact with her while infected.

And we can’t even sue the b@$t@rd$! When President Trump takes office, I hope he will remove the restrictions on suing the vaccinazis for the damage they’ve caused.

Devil's advocate or Big Pharma lawyer...Since my wife insisted on getting jabbed when I told her not to do so, did she cause the injury herself?

This woman was permanently disabled before she took the Jim Jones Jab - it was just mentally disabled until she added physically disabled by taking part in an untested experiment.
