Yes to what you said. The first paragraph says it all. I’m in Illinois, we have CCW, and open carry is prohibited. Open carry should be legal here too, but personally I prefer to keep it hidden. Why make myself a target?

I agree. I even conceal carry in my home. It’s just easier if I have to go someplace or if people come over .

Open carry means the bad guy skips it and moves on to some other place without a gun pointed back at them.
I do both, depending on where I am. Shelby Co (Memphis) conceal. Atoka, Tipton Co Either way.
