Heavyweight Mike Tyson drastically altered his nutrition in preparation for his professional boxing battle against Jake Paul in July. In preparation for the fight, which is scheduled to happen in Texas in July, Tyson has started eating raw meat.
The social media sensation Paul will face the heavyweight icon Tyson in a contentious boxing match, officially confirmed as a professional fight last week in Texas in July. Eight two-minute rounds will be fought amongst the adversaries in the ring, with the winner determined by their records.
Paul will be almost thirty years younger than Tyson, fighting at fifty-eight. It has been over two decades since Tyson’s last professional appearance and four years since his last bout.
How Will Raw Meat Help Mike Tyson Win Against Jake Paul?
Mike Tyson, the great heavyweight boxer, gave some insight into his unusual preparations before his fight against Jake Paul on July 20. In an interview with the Damon Elliott Show, Tyson,57, claimed that consuming raw meat had helped him stay in excellent form for the fight.
Is Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson A Pro-Fight?
This fight, scheduled for AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, between Tyson and the 27-year-old Paul, will be Tyson’s first official, non-exhibition boxing contest since 2005. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations agreed to sanction the fight last month, changing the earlier belief that it would be an exhibition. The bout will broadcast live on Netflix.
With a 50-6 career record and 44 knockout victories, Tyson is one of the all-time greats in the heavyweight category despite approaching 60 years of age and not having fought in a formal match in almost 20 years.
Despite Paul’s thirty-year age difference, the former heavyweight champion of the WBA, WBC, IBF, and The Ring has more experience and accomplishments than Paul. Paul is also a rising fighter, having amassed a 9-1 career record that includes six knockout wins.
You forget about tartare, and two of the best: crudo and ceviche.
Tyson is looking impressive. If this is not some sort of fake scripted exhibition, I think he’s going to turn Jake Paul’s lights out.
Hopefully Paul won’t hurt him too bad.
If you are referring to Jake Paul, I would agree with you.
Well, for openers…
Gunpowder?
Is that a Che tat?
He's not a dancer and all his prior wins have been against pseudo boxers.
Tyson is a proven strong brawler and will stay inside the entire fight. I don't see the fight going more than three rounds with Tyson destroying Paul
"I'm gonna kill them ribs!"
I don't know.
But if it is, consider that Tyson isn't known for his intellectual capacity......
He also has a Mao tattoo. I wouldn’t read too much politics into his tattoos. I think they symbolize determination more than anything else. Would be funny if he got a Trump tattoo. He’s been a Trump supporter in the past and maybe even now.
[Shannon Briggs was a professional boxer with 60 wins, 53 by KO.
Jake Paul is a social media influencer.
Maybe when Tyson is 79, Paul could beat him.
Tyson was one of the hardest hitters in boxing. He seems to be in good shape. It doesn’t matter that he’s 57, it matters he’s a top professional and he’s fighting an amateur.
This shouldn’t be legal. If this fight is legitimate, Tyson could kill Paul, or leave him with lifelong damage.]
If Paul can last three rounds, I would consider that a victory by him.
YouTuber Jake Paul to face charges for role in looting at Scottsdale Fashion Square
I agree....
One thing about athletes is that you never really lose those skills you worked hard on for years (or decades).
Mike might be “old”, but he still knows his skills.
Paul might leave in a body bag with a good upper cut or hook shot. It only takes one good clean hit to kill a man.
Tale of the Tapeworms. Or wormth.
That's what I thought too. Anyway, I hope he kicks Paul's butt.
16 oz gloves. No one is gonna get hurt.
I think you under-estimate the debilitating effects of age.
In the old days a very common saying was “17-27”, which of course was the rule of thumb for boxing age. With better diet , medicine etc it has raised. maybe by a dozen years. But 57???
the great Big George Foreman was 45 and he was old when he won the title.
I’m going with Tyson knocked out by Paul in round 4. With the caveat Paul doesn’t stand and trade with him in the first 2 rounds.
