Here are ten of their most common untruths about October 7 and the war that followed.
Scan news accounts of anti-Israel campus and street protestors. Read their demands and manifestos. Collate the confusion after October 7 from the Biden administration.
Here are ten of their most common untruths about October 7 and the war that followed.
“Progressive Hamas”: Gay and transgendered student protestors in America would be in mortal danger in Gaza under a fascistic Hamas that has banned homosexual acts and lifestyles. Anyone protesting publicly against Hamas or its allies would be arrested and severely punished.
Women are segregated in most Hamas-run educational institutions. Under the Hamas charter, women are valued mostly as child-bearers. By design, there are almost no women in high positions in business or in government under Hamas.
“Colonists and Settlers”: Students scream that Israelis are “settlers” and “colonists” and sometimes yell at Jewish students to “go back to Poland.”
But the Jewish presence in present-day Israel is deeply rooted in ancient tradition. Dating back at least three millennia, the concept of “Israel” as a distinct Jewish state, situated roughly in its current location, is ingrained in history.
By contrast, the much later Arab invasions of the Byzantine-controlled Levant and their arrival in Palestine occurred about 1800 years after the establishment of a Jewish Israel.
“Two-state Solution”: When student protestors scream “from the river to the sea,” that is not advocacy for a two-state solution. It is a call to eliminate the state of Israel—lying in between the Jordan River and Mediterranean Sea—and its 10 million Jewish and Arab citizens. The Hamas charter is a one-state/no-Israel agenda, which we saw attempted on October 7.
“Occupied Gaza”: Gaza was autonomous. The Israeli border is closed, but so is the Egyptian border...

Or as they say, Iran wants to destroy Israel and can’t - and Israel can destroy Iran but doesn’t.
So we might as well hand the USA back to the Native Americans and Mexicans.
Maybe corral those of us who stubbornly refuse to go or to die up into the Michigan mitten.
Wikipedia is not a reliable source.

Our own country is burning down. I’m not concerned with events halfway across the globe in context, other than I hope my friends in Israel are safe.
But we have no place in the Hamas War.
It is interesting material.
I read the underlying sources at wikipedia,
they appear legitimate but so does much of wikipedia in regards to politics, religion and modern science when it really isn’t legitimate in the slightest.
I’d be interested if VDH is aware of the material and ignores it at bs or is unaware.
At the end of the day, he is the foremost military historian in the nation and wikipedia is garbage.
It makes me LOL an hyperbolic exaggeration machine is calling a foremost expert a liar.
I didn’t post anything from Wikipedia so I don’t know exactly what you mean.
I think VDH is mostly brilliant. I also think he is an Israeli stooge and can’t be trusted on this one particular issue.
It wasn’t too long ago that 4 star generals, Congressmen, Senators and even Presidents publicly complained about the undue influence that Israel and the Jewish lobby had over US domestic and foreign policy. Israeli politicians would publicly brag about how much control they had over US politicians and pundits.
I guess it has all magically disappeared and now it is antisemitic to even bring it up.
I understand the confusion.
Have no fear, there will be no confusion moving forward.
Islam does not need your help taking over the world.
Commies, Marxists, islamists and their sympathizers are currently destroying this country. While my brain is subjected to pro Iran, pro Russia and pro China material as if the leftist radicals just sprouted out of the ground.
You’re not a victim. Jim lets all the sympathizers post until their fingers fall off. Good for him. It only exposes the irrationality.
Nation - (noun) a large body of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory.
I am not a sympathizer of anyone. I am a nationalist in the same way that I am a “gravitist” or a “supply and demandist”. Nations will exist. Those who ignore this fact will have weak ones or won’t belong to one at all.
Do you belong to one?
I recognize that other nations, which are allowed to exist, have competing interest with my once great nation and will leverage power, money, corruption, intelligence to gain advantage.
Kudos to the Jews for manipulating the world into creating a nation for them. Good for them.
The only thing I ask is to have my own nation based on the characteristics in the definition I posted earlier and the conditions Israel uses in administration of their nation.
In the same way that I will jealously guard the interests of my nation against abuse by the Iranians, Russians, Chinese, etc….I also guard them against the nation of Israel.
Either you, like many on FR, have been brainwashed into ignoring the competing interests of Israel or you are acting as I would expect you to and you are debating me in defense of your nation. Which one is it?
And to add to my point, just today your favorite country’s biggest lobbying arm is trying to take out Rep. Massie.

Let me guess….he is an “apologist” too?
If they are successful in taking him out, will you still be so blind as to say they are our “greatest ally” and mean us no harm?
So Roman colonists from Syria

wow, nice to read a news article with actual real facts.
I thought that was illegal in Biden's reign of oppression.
There is no “palestine” it was a term coined by the British. When the UN agreed to a post-war plan for the region, the Arabs were given Jordan and the Israelis received a tiny slice of land. After the 1948 war there still were no Palestinians, the arabs who lived in Gaza were part of Egypt and the ones on the West Bank were part of Jordan.
75 years of occupation is complete nonsense, along with Jews being designated “european colonialists”
