I’ll pass on the mutton.
I don’t do Lamb. I would like to raise Sheep for the wool for crafting and such, but they are just TOO CUTE to eat when they are Lambs! And Beau says, ‘Sheep! They’re just LOOKING for a reason to die!’ He dislikes Sheep. His Dad raised Sheep when he was a ‘kid’ (!)
And I dislike Goats! I was ‘in charge’ of milking them when I was a ‘kid’ (!) and was ‘farmed out’ as cheap labor to my Aunt’s Dairy Farm for the Summers. (Thanks, Mom!) BUT - I WOULD make an exception for Angora Goats - also for the wool. Or maybe it’s fur? Whatever. I also like Angora Rabbits for the fur - but I don’t like eating Rabbit. Ugh!
What about Alpaca? Why doesn’t anyone eat them? They can’t be much different. And there used to be scores of Alpaca Farms around...thanks to Multi-Level Marketing. ;)
And don’t even get me STARTED on Our Lord separating the Sheep from the Goats when He returns! (Matthew 25:31-46)
