Putin orders missile drill as furious Kremlin warns ‘you won’t be safe in 10 Downing Street’

Russian President Vladimir Putin has continued his deranged nuclear warnings to the West, warning Prime Minister Rishi Sunak that London's iconic No.10 Downing Street is on a hit list.

Russian president Vladimir Putin has today ordered nuclear missile firing drills and warned not even Downing Street will be safe.

He told defence minister Sergei Shoigu to prepare exercises in the near future "in order to increase the readiness of non-strategic nuclear forces to fulfil combat missions." A Russian defence minister said it would involve land, air and naval forces.

A ministry spokesperson said: "A set of measures will be taken to practise the preparation and use of non-strategic nuclear weapons." Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev even suggested such weapons could be used against the UK and its allies.

Ukraine has only been a country since 1991

Russia recognized an independent Ukraine in 1918. As part of the Soviet Union it was a constituent republic on equal footing (theoretically) with the Russian Federation and had a separate seat in the UN.

If it will make you feel better about yourself... Sure.

I doubt it will help you though.

I don’t actually disagree on any of those points.

I was active duty USMC from ‘88-94. My family history includes my Father’s Grandparents being “disappeared” by Stalin during the holodomor and his parents escaping war torn Europe post-WWII to come to the US.

As a capitalist... it is my view that we are missing out on a huge opportunity to SELL our goods and services to a Country under attack by a historically aggressive Nation. “Giving” away billions of our tax monies is, as stated, treasonous. I don’t care who it’s going to.

As for fixing things here? J6 SHOULD have been a “fight against the real insurrection” that took place when Pence failed to be either a “check” or a “balance” to the outright fraud that landed a senile communist at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

No thanks, I won’t report you like you did, but I must admit I do love poking fun at libertarians. Your contradictions are delightful. Here you are a comic book reading libertarian, one who believes in an unauthorized/unconstitutional war and censorship! It goes against everything Harry Browne stood for, but you won’t learn that reading Superman.

...one who believes in an unauthorized/unconstitutional war and censorship...

It must be nice to just make stuff up on the fly rather than having to worry about anything like facts.

I actually voted for Browne over Bush on Bush's first run. Voted Bush the second term.

But again... Tell me more about this fictitious me... I'm dying to learn what else I believe...

You believe in the debunked Domino Theory and Biden’s interventionist foreign policy paid for with US tax dollars. You also believe in censorship as evidence by actions today. Stick with comic books 🤣

Two lies in one sentence. Not a record, but for someone like you? Gold star.

Maybe if Putin HADN'T already gone after Georgia and wasn't saber rattling at every other Nation on his borders, you'd have a point about the Domino thing... But... he is... Which means it isn't a theory.

And no... one more time for the idiots in the back row... I do not support ONE PENNY going to anyone in foreign aid from US tax coffers. Period. Full stop. End of line.

Now, SELLING them stuff... Sure. Free markets uber alles.

You are actively engaging in violations of the terms of service here by stalking people across threads to post personal attacks. This has been a no-no since before you started posting here from, Ireland is it... So, yeah. That isn't censorship... that's following the rules on someone else's playground.

Respect for anyone who gets through Parris Island!

People feel passionately about this, and I am no exception. I am going to try to accept disagreements here as a disagreement of priorities and leave it at that.

I have to accept there are people who can’t discuss the issue for their own reasons, and try not to judge them.

I am glad you aren’t one of them. I am tired of this dynamic of arguing in a vitriolic fashion with people I should ostensibly be allies with, especially now.

if Putin HADN'T already gone after Georgia

Not our business, except to the extent you flex your Neocon muscles. And if what Putin does in Georgia does irritate you, I suggest you get off the sofa and stand with whoever it is you feel an allegiance with, but leave America out of it.

I do not support ONE PENNY going to anyone in foreign aid from US tax coffers

Your support of Ukraine comes with hundreds of billions of dollars in US tax payer support. If this isn't evident to you, get yourself back to school

More 'safe space' libertarian theory? every thread is open for comment, even the ones about your comic books.

San Diego. Hollywood Marine... But, I did do my NCO school on PI. :-)

Eh... some people argue to get to the root of the facts. Others, to score school yard points. Still others, to keep us arguing rather than come to any agreement.

My biggest passion here is Article 1 Section 8. There is an explicit list of 17 things the FedGov is ALLOWED to do. The list of Federal agencies is over 700... Anything that fits that 700+ back inside that 17 is good... Anything that works against that is by definition... not good.

RINO’s on here, and frequently the disruptor class, will tie themselves in knots justifying one unConstitutional expansion of Fed-power of one stripe or another...

GIVE money to Zelenskyy for nothing in return? Not Good.
SELL them all the goods they can afford? Good.

Not "my" support. But, you haven't shown a penchant for accuracy in reporting yet...

More 'safe space' libertarian theory?

Nope. In the words of The Boss;
Free Republic is a site dedicated to the concerns of traditional grassroots conservative activists. We're here to discuss and advance our conservative causes in a more or less liberal-free environment. We're not here to debate liberals. We do not want our pages filled with their arrogant, obnoxious, repugnant bile. Liberals, usurpers, and other assorted malcontents are considered unwelcome trolls on FR and their accounts and or posts will be summarily dismissed at the convenience of the site administrators.

Trolling across pages to name call is kind of a dead giveaway as to your purpose here.

I have repeatedly stated that I am not for giving our money away to anyone. Period. Ukraine. France. Portugal... Don't care.

Now... you can either stop lying about my stance on that issue... Or you can take it up with the Admin.

Right. We wouldn’t have the problems we do today if the government stayed in its Constitutionally defined lanes.

But it doesn’t. It has become so bloated, and is hemorrhaging taxpayer money in millions of places into black holes ranging from politicians we voted for to watch the henhouse, to people who wish fervently for our destruction.

There is no accountability, no tracking, no followup on stolen, missing or misappropriated funds, and the old expression “a million here, a million there, and you’re soon talking real money” has turned into “a billion here, a billion there” and is threatening to turn into “a trillion here, a trillion there”.

Last election, I recall seeing FEDERAL WORKERS having a zoom call to discuss how to keep Trump from getting elected, and if he did get elected, how to sabotage his Presidency.

I was astonished. Out in the open. No doubt having this meeting on government computers, networks, and equipment.

And nobody said boo to them.

Yep. A federal bureaucracy out of control. Again, thanks for the discussion. Restores my faith in this website...:)

There's actually a lot of it still here. Some threads, bring out the worst in some. I've been part of more than one flame war here, so my hands aren't entirely clean... I admit.

But serious issues like this should have more discussion than just "zeepers" and "rooty-pooters".

I don't KNOW all the facts. Nor do I pretend to. I have a bit of an interest in the area as my ethnicity is both Scandinavian and Slavic (with a bit of Gaelic for spice). But wading through a firehose grade of outright dumb from both sides on FR is frustrating.

Be well... pray for us all.

Ukrainian government digs out a credit card and places an order with Remington, Colt, General Dynamics, etc... DHL delivers...

It doesn’t really need to be any more complicated than that.

You know, capitalism. You DO like capitalism don’t you?

You asked how it SHOULD work. I answered.

This ISN’T how your political heroes have it set up. There’s layers of graft, Union contracts, international treaties that were never ratified by our Congress, and outright criminal activity all around.

Free markets are a good thing. We should really give that a try again...

Corpse, work with me.

It's too late in the game to roll out libertarian fantasy. It's time to be a man and address the mess we're in head on. Leave your tales of the Holodomor and your ethnic tribal land spats to Europe. You're an American, act like one.

You're an American, act like one.
