I don't know if you could call it a "civil war" since we will likely be fighting invaders mostly.
Its not just rural vs urban though its often portrayed that way. There is an underlying regional characteristic to this and as more and more Leftugees vote with their feet and get out of blue chitholes like California and New York and Illinois, that regional characteristic is only being reinforced.
The Acela Corridor from the 3 counties of Occupied Northern Virginia up to Maine is overwhelmingly Leftist. Joining them is the Left Coast (not the whole states of California, Oregon and Washington - just the coastal strip), Hawaii and a few islands like Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago and Detroit.
The rest - the South, the Midwest and non Left Coast West and Alaska is traditional America.
At this point, I’d be perfectly happy for two sides to formally separate. They don’t get along. They haven’t for a long time. The differences are so deeply ingrained they are as much cultural as they are political. Both sides don’t just have different worldviews, they really detest one another. Peaceful separation would be the best outcome. We in America at least, would be much happier. New England and the Left coast would continue to be miserable but then again, they’re always miserable about everything. So nothing much would change. But we in America would be happier and we would remove the cancer from our body politic.
The way out of this mess MUST be peaceful. We MUST find a peaceful way.

They are trying to make this look like the run up to a Civil War. It is not that at all. These are enemy instigators and agitators. These are trained radicalizers and organizers.
