My educated guess on your Sage leaves is Spider Mites. They are TINY and they do pierce holes in the leaves as they suck out the sap.
Invest in some insecticidal soap (or make your own) or Neem oil spray.

Re: Blueberries - you sound like Beau and his Hascaps (Honeyberry) shrubs. He wants them in the worst way, and doesn’t have the best of luck with his crops. He also ignores them and then complains when they don’t produce enough. ;)
I can get the soap stuff tomorrow, as I have to go in to the OKC area then . . .Does Diatomaceous Earth have any success with spider mites, do you know?
