Cut some of the trees down that were close to the tunnel. Looks a little less like a crazy man building a tunnel in the woods. Yes, I landed the top of one tree on the left side of the bed of the truck but I knew it would happen. Trunk and branches were down to 1 inch up there. No damage but yes, I am crazy but I am good at it and it's fun.
That gap where you see sky is pretty close to due East and I'll be cutting to the right and further back to open things up down to that sun at 9-10 am point. That and start stacking firewood.

I'm of the mind now that it will get done when it gets done. I've been neglecting other things.

You’re ahead of where you thought you’d be. Slow and steady wins the race!

While I LOVE trees, I like your plan for letting in more sunshine. That’s never a bad thing. And firewood in winter? Bonus! :)
