Well rain will do that but the climate cult will say something else and it’s ALWAYS BAD ,LOL
Sounds like a great story. Too bad it’s behind a paywall
One of our kids has been on a motorcycle exploring the Death Valley Park the last few days. I’ll be interested in hearing his reports.
Death Valley is the most under-rated National Park, IMHO. It is stunning, even in the summertime. Joshua Tree National Park, which is close by, is also stunning. Highly recommend if anyone travels to southern California.
An ancient off-again on-again lake has been revived in Death Valley.
Beautiful desert blossoms, longer growing seasons, thriving plant and animal life with more biodiversity — please tell me again why we’re supposed to hate climate change.
Instead, how about we rename it to “climate improvement”?
Thanks for posting this article.
It reminds me to check out the pics elsewhere.
Certain years the Painted Desert area is magnificent but most years its just so-so.
Thread is worthless without pictures of desert blooming
There were a lot of storms that blew in from the Pacific, making Southern AZ’s winter monsoon (which is usually more of a “winter monsoon”) extremely wet, and of course to get here from there means going over Death Valley. And desert plants know the drill when there’s water in the ground grow fast, bloom hard and scatter seeds quick cause the water won’t last. Desert plants know that this is an anomaly, not the new normal.
