Those most responsible for the travesty of justice regarding OJ's murdering of two people are, IMHO, the following (in no particular order):

Gil Garcetti -- The trial should have been in Santa Monica

Marcia Clark -- Incompetent and arrogant

Judge Ito -- He enjoyed the spotlight too much

The Jury -- To find a dumber bunch of people you would need to go a Gavin Newsom family dinner.

I leave off the defense team because they were doing their job. The people listed above, failed to do theirs.

The guy got away with a double homicide and never paid for the murders of his ex-wife and some hapless waiter, and died a free man at a ripe old age. Shameful.

He was obviously guilty. I was flabbergasted when this story first came out as I lived in Buffalo during OJ’s reign as a super star running back and couldn’t imagine him capable of such a thing. I feel sorry for those killed and their parents.

It was certainly a tabloid event and trial. In addition to many aspects of this whole fiasco one thing that really stands out in my mind is how a single picture, actually there was more than one, showed the racial divide in this nation.
