Wow! That’s what I call a tough old bird!
This is exactly why you empty your gun, just because you shoot someone even twice fatally, doesn’t mean they can’t return fire on you.
There is a case being reported on now where a guy who got pulled over and started firing at cops got shot over 100 times... well this is exactly why they did that!
...great shooting granny!
Why don’t people have an alarm system, motion lights and a dog is beyond me....and of course a gun, which she had. These are not a guarantee for safety but increase your chances of being prepared greatly...
There is no “outrage” among the Left because the criminal was white. Nevertheless these home breakins by armed lowlife criminals will only be increasing. Many areas of America have forsaken traditional law and order and property rights. Many times the homeowner would be prosecuted and judges would allow civil suits against them. Either resist with intent or die.
I figure I’d empty a gun as well...
her son who was asleep in the house didn’t find her for 10 hours... her son must have sleep apnea and on a cpap machine not to hear 9 gunshots.
One moral (out of many) from this story: Always secure your doors and windows before you go to sleep. As for the doors, I use a door alarm wedge. It’s available on Amazon, two for around $9. They’re pretty darn loud.
When I travel, I always take one and put it against my hotel room door. Oh, and I take police-grade pepper spray too. Fox and Sabre are good brands.
I do not take a firearm as I lost them all years ago in a boating accident.
The door alarm wedge:
the article says he was disabled. Doesn’t say more - could have been mentally disabled.
On Easter 2009, a nut armed with a shotgun and handgun and who lived in the neighborhood attacked and murdered a couple in their home. When the man subsequently pointed the shotgun at sheriff’s deputies who had arrived, they fired 18 rounds, emptying their weapons and striking the murderer numerous times. He was dead at the scene.
Saw a segment on Newsmax where a cop was being chased down by a knife wielding perp- either in a mental rage or on drugs, who tried stabbing the cop several times. The cop unloaded on the perp, hitting him many times, and the perp just kept coming forward, and even walked away from the cop for awhile, until dropping dead down the road a way.
It showed exactly, what you are talking about
her so is disabled
I have video cams outside and two Jack Russell/Mountain Feists inside at night plus a dog that was dropped off on me three years ago. She is also very protective (part Chow). The .38 is in the nightstand and the 12ga is in the corner. 😁
‘why you empty your gun...’
You mean like this?

Dogs are nice, but elderly folks have trouble taking them out for walks to do their business, especially in winter. If they have a back yard and don’t care about dog crap everywhere, that is different. A nice great Dane, wolf hound, mastiff would be a nice deterrent thoug.
Cool device! Gonna have to get one.
She should have put 5 or 6 into this POS.
