I’m pretty sure that’s what happens to my luggage occasionally.
But, maybe the ESG score for BA is up due to the DEI program for mechanic training.
Man, Southwest appears to be poised to snatch the title of “lousiest maintenance department of a major air carrier” away from United.
Of course, half the media reporting will try to link it straight to Boeing.*
*which may be deserved; I can’t seem to find this aircraft’s tail number/age. But most of the slew of incidents since the infamous door plug one in the past couple months have been maintenance, not original manufacture problems.
Evil Boeing plane.

That has been the theory of the 4 working engineers, we have in our families and one retired engineer.

A guy’s buying an airline ticket to Chicago. He tells the clerk, “I want you to send one bag to LA and the other one to Hawaii.” She says, “Sir, we can’t do that.” He says, “Why not? You did it last week.”
Yep it took off into the WILD BLUE YONDER
Seriously, as a former flight attendant who is married to a pilot, I have NEVER seen this level/number of incidents.
And I was there before drug and alcohol testing!!!!!
Not uncommon...☺
Knowing that could be the cause still makes people like me scared to fly.
I sure hope that takeoff was aborted.
“Knowing that could be the cause still makes people like me scared to fly.”
My wife, our adult children and their spouses are not flying at this time.
One of my wife’s retired siblings has not flown for two years. He and his lady use trains or drive on longer trips.

“The amazing thing is not that it is so screwed up, the amazing thing is it works at all.”
Our expectations are perfection. even in presidential candidates.
