When I was a teenager in Jacksonville, there was a small, square park right in the middle of downtown. Can’t remember the name and don’t know if it’s even still there, but the joke was it was going to be renamed because of all the homos hanging out there to ‘Peter Sellers Park’............
“Star” has to be the most misused word in journalism.
The fact that one appeared on TV, or in a movie, does not make that person a star.
That label should be reserved for outstanding performances, multiple times, and acclaimed by the public, not some award show put on by one’s peers.
I doubt there is even one actual “MTV star”.
