After 53 years of benefiting from my white privilege, it is now time for me to say goodbye to my fleet of yachts, my dozens of private jets, and my guaranteed exemptions from cancer, heart disease, and stroke.

Just like that, I am now a racial minority.

The Oscars now require that a film include (behind or in front of the camera) a quota of nonwhites for the film to be eligible for an Academy Award. But nonwhite can include Middle Eastern, so Israeli Jews (e.g., Natalie Portman, Gal Gadot) can check the nonwhite box.

I guess, because of the historic discrimination that Jewish Israeli actors have long suffered from Hollywood.

Reading that form, it seem that if your heritage is English, German, Italian, or whatever, you can check that box even if you weren't born in those countries.

Since Jews claim to originate from ancient Israel, I wonder if any Jew -- even converts? -- can check Israeli.

I wonder if Arabs, Muslims, Palestinians, even Thais and Filipinos, born in Israel can check Israeli.

Recently made up a new list of proposed Protected Class ethnic minorities overlooked by the EEOC. To wit:

Pictish-American

Nederland-American
Austrian-American...etc

You get the idea. All of Europe is defined by a LOT of ethnicities with different languages, genetics, looks, customs, history and grudges. When do they all get the same privileges that so far have accrued to basically the rest of the planet?

Currently about 670 million people in Spain , South and Central America and Mexico all enjoy Protected Class status the moment they cross the border into the United States. In no way are they a “minority” compared to anyone except the inhabitants of India, China and Africa. So uh...how come they outrank us pale people?

Need to insist that the “government” accepts it so we can all be “equal” as Protected Classes. And ultimately make that designation as meaningless as it is un-Constitutional.
