When I lived in Hong Kong (before the commies solidified their grip), we used to call Singapore an “expat starter kit”. It’s nice, clean, antiseptic and the weather is always 30 degrees Celsius, chance of rain.
I can understand why he’d choose to live in a country that is in proximity of Communist China, rather than live in a city like New York that is actually run by Communists.
Singapore won’t extradite money launderers to the USA for prosecution.
An armed society is a polite society, but one that actively canes people for small infractions is still one I’d give a thumbs-up to, on keeping order.
Singapore doesnt have the violent, high crime,demographic that is still trying to recover from slavery which ended 150 years ago. Nor do they have corrupt Soros DAs and prosecutors that routinely frees violent criminals to offend again. This is a major factor when you compare the shithole of NYC to Singapore.
