“...a bit of difference in courtesy....”? It ain’t just on the slopes.
Unexpected!
I wonder if there is any activity that is not affected by the decline in manners and the increase in drug use.
Probably has nothing to do with legalized pot. Sure would be an interesting datapoint, though.
Anyone can be a DEI incompetent...at work or at play.
what I noticed on a recent ski trip is that almost everyone wears a helmet now.
Which you might at first “think” makes everyone safer.. but not necessarily! Because the helmet itself is a danger to others. It is one thing to get hit by another skier it is an entirely different thing to get hit by another skiers helmet.
I believe your lift ticket still has a disclaimer, something about this sport being dangerous and you can get hurt or killed. You puts on the board (or skis) you take the risk and SOME get hurt.
The snow is a lot harder now than it was before the far left liberals created the “climate crisis”. A lot more “slope rash”.
Stop grooming so tight and accidents will drop by 80%.
It’s either Global Warming, or it’s Trump’s fault. I suppose it could be ascribed to White Supremacy, since snow is white.
A reflection of spiritual and moral cultural degeneration and decline, from the family to local culture to the world overall, in which media and secular schools are the main tutors - of wokeducation.
How can this be when global warming means less snow?
The same thing happened to surfing. Too many Aholes and JOs out there to have the same experience as it was 30 years ago.
I remember we were complaining about incivility on the slopes back in the late 70s and early 80s.
Too many young folk inticed by friends to just do it without any lessons beforehand.
I skied when I was young and then didn’t ski for over 30 years. I took a refressher beginners lesson on the first day i went skiing again. The second day I had confince again on the slopes.
