I know get mad at me, but "Let it Be" was the best Beatle song, it was recorded in 1969, but wasn't released until 1970, this is new footage, from over 50 years ago.

Surprised they didn't edit out George smoking a cigarette.

Surprised they didn't edit out George smoking a cigarette.

On Netflix, they will show the viewer "warnings" at the start of a movie :
violence
nudity
language
smoking.

Always makes my laugh a bit.

If you are interested in creativity, the human condition, and conflict resolution, the entire “Get Back” documentary is worth the multiple hour investment.

Watching these guys effortlessly writing and refining songs that stand the test of time is incredible.

It is also informative to see how marginalizing “the little people” unleashes destruction. George walking out reduced the Beatles to a hot mess.

Billy Preston played piano on that song. He’s the only non-Beatle to be given credit for his performance in the album notes.

In a library on a table someone left an old book about the Beatles lying open. George Harrison was quoted as saying the new, healthy Maharishi inspired diet and meditation lifestyle for the Beatles “is adding years to our lives.”

Sad.

“Let It Be Naked” is the best version of the album and especially the track, “Let It Be” - both sonically and without the extra garbage Phil Spector added.

I listened to the White Album recently. It was neat to hear some Beetles music I had never heard before. Like it was waiting for me , undiscovered, because some of the tunes never become hits. While I can deny their politics made any sense I can’t deny their musical talent.

My second favorite after Blackbird... Or maybe tied with Lady Madonna.

Is “Mother Mary” in the song a reference to Mary, the mother of Jesus? Or someone else?
