Russian nuclear 'targets' mapped as US officer reveals countries in NATO crosshair

A NATO nuclear attack on Russia has been simulated in a video, showing how 45 million people would be "vaporised" in the first hour of a conflict with the West.

A former US Air Force officer has warned that Russia could face devastating consequences if it were to use a nuclear weapon against a NATO country.

Jake Broe, who used to work in Nuclear and Missile Operations, shared a chilling video on social media platform X, showing how NATO could target cities across Russia. He said: "If Russia uses a nuclear weapon against a NATO country, then this is what will happen to Russia in response. About 45 million Russians will be vaporised in the first hour. Not much of a life remaining for the other 100 million."

He also suggested that the people of Russia should stop supporting Putin and de-escalate the conflict. The video was made by Modern Muscle on Youtube. The video shows NATO missiles falling on southern Russia near Rostov-on-Don.

Then, the attacks go north up to the border with Ukraine and reach St Petersburg, where Putin is from, reports the Express. Lots of missiles hit Moscow and cities close by. After that, the strikes go east to large areas like Kazan and Yekaterinburg. In the end, the NATO attack hits far-east cities like Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.

Rural Russians would probably be glad to be rid of the Muscovites.

Agreed!!

The EU wants to form a European military force, and that will provide an opportunity to dissolve NATO, merge the European nations into the EU military and bring the US forces and money back home.

Suddenly the Putinistas are against nuclear threats. Strange.

This is what Vicki Nuland and NeoCons have created.
The possibility of a Nuke War.
You NeoCons love war, until a Nuke drops in your neighborhood.
Then your last thoughts will be “oh sh*t”

“Unsurprisingly, the suggestion that a nuke—if properly sized—would draw only a wrist slap...”

**********

Thank you. That was an idiotic remark by Biden, but it does underscore the issue of proportionality in a back handed kind of way. Would use of a tactical nuke provoke in a back water country be enough to trigger an all out nuclear conflagration? I don’t think so. In actuality, because of the global consequences, it would probably take a lot more than that to trigger a major response. JMHO

Exactly. The Putin fans aren’t happy about seeing the consequences of Putin and Medvedev’s unhinged nuclear threats to the civilized world.

Just like they are suddenly in support for online voting after watching “Putin” vote by computer yesterday.

Empty land is where the nukes are. Retaliation will kill all Europeans. Europe has no empty spaces. Europe is the worst area in case of all our nuclear war.

I can find maniacs in DC spouting the same type stupidity all day long. Should the Russians say, OMG, look what Lindsey Graham, Hillary Clinton or JOE BIDEN said about defeating Russia regardless of what it takes (BEFORE 2/22), we better nuke them now! Don’t be a fool, listen to what Putin has consistently said for 20 years and believe it. He has carried through on every promise of reactive action. He does not bluff. He has made it crystal clear when he will cross the nuclear threshold. Medvedev is a joker like Graham, Clinton and BIDEN throwing red meat to the maniac warmongers who make up a small portion of both our populations.

We don’t need nukes to destroy Russia, and Russia knows it. They are exceptionally vulnerable to conventional strikes.

Russia with 12 time zones is I’m much better position to survive nuclear war than Densely populated Europe. In a all out nuclear war Europe could easily vaporize 300 million people.

Russia is big, but the population is urban and concentrated. But yes you're correct that large sections of unpopulated Siberia could avoid getting nuked. Not much good for the russians who don't live there.

“Europe has no empty spaces.”

Meanwhile Russia has a lot of empty space. What difference does it make to 99% of people on both sides who will die in case of full scale nuclear war ?

“Russia with 12 time zones is I’m much better position to survive nuclear war”

Nonsense. 75% of the Russian population is west of the Ural mountains, which is only about 23% of Russian territory. In the other 77% of Russian territory are some large swaths where “Russians” are not the majority.

Putin initiating a nuclear war exchange could end up resulting in the disintegration of Russia as a unified “Russian” state.

The other side of the coin is that Putin was reckless by starting a shooting war. There really are no good guys here.

The expansion of NATO eastward was only part of the problem.

We fomented an illegal coup in Ukraine, installed puppet government hostile to Moscow and those in Ukraine of Russian ethnicity. That setoff a civil war. We helped build and train a 600,000 man Ukraine army and armed Ukraine with lethal weapons. And, we running biolabs with deadly pathogens in them in Ukraine.

If Russia or China had done that in Mexico, we would have invaded, justifiably so.

Unfortunately, modern AI or other brain trusts may come to the opposite conclusion: The only way to maintain a competitive advantage is by using a first strike.

Plus the decision-makers seem to be more concerned with their own survival. Mutually Assured Survival (MAS), if you will. But only for the ruling class.
