A little local color... At least once per week I walk by the corner where the guy with the “free fentanyl” sign used to be camped out. He was a real piece of work, even by San Francisco standards. He was there for what seemed like a couple months, and he had one of the most elaborate homeless campsites I’ve ever seen in such a busy neighborhood. The dude had a tent, multiple pieces of furniture, cooking equipment (including hibachi-style grills). Mind you, this was on a busy boulevard, and his campsite was across the street from a Catholic elementary school & church, and half a block from a public library and children’s branch library.
Was he advertising the fact that he dispenses fentanyl free of cost, to all passers-by? Or was he calling for all govt. restrictions on fentanyl to be lifted? Or was he demanding that fentanyl be provided free of cost?
I feel rather like Gandalf, in the opening scene of "The Hobbit," asking Bilbo what he means by "Good Day!"
Regards,
That was me! π€‘
