I also doubt farm-raising snakes is any more “eco-friendly” than other animals
I tried rattlesnake many years ago. One problem with snake meat is that it’s chewy, and downright tough if you over cook it even a little. And being that reptiles can carry some nasty bacteria, like salmonella, you have to make sure it’s well cooked. There might be some cooking methods that work well, like Sous Vide, or maybe ground into burger or sausage, but I’m in no hurry to try it.
I imagine alligators appreciate that information.

And according to at least a few Orthodox authorities, snake might be lenten! ??
I’m a Protestant, so I don’t follow the Old Testament dietary restriction. But it strikes me that snakes are not kosher, and in general insects are also not kosher. Are the World Masters just trying to force people to break God’s law for the sake of blasphemy? I imagine that would amuse them.

No thanks on the snake meat. I think I’ll stick with a good rib eye steak or pork chop, although with Joey’s grocery store inflation I really can’t afford it. Thanks Joe, you’re doing a helluva job.
