Jimmy Kimmel took a moment during the Oscars telecast right before Al Pacino took the stage to present best picture to “Oppenheimer” to read aloud Donald Trump‘s latest social media post that bashed Kimmel as this year’s Oscars host.
“Has there EVER been a WORSE HOST than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars,” Trump asked his followers. “His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be. Get rid of Kimmel and perhaps replace him with another washed up, but cheap, ABC ‘talent,’ George Slopanopoulos. He would make everybody on stage look bigger, stronger, and more glamorous.”
“Also a really bad politically correct show tonight, and for years – Disjointed, boring, and very unfair,” Trump continued. “Why don’t they just give the Oscars to those that deserve them. Maybe that way their audience and TV ratings will come back from the depths. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Kimmel fired back at Trump by saying, “Blah, blah, blah…Okay, now, see if you can guess which former president just posted that on RruthSsocial. Anyone? No? Well, thank you, President Trump. Thank you for watching, I’m surprised you’re still — isn’t it past your jail time?”

That list looks a lot like my “special” list for someday.
Of course I mean the Hallmark Christmas cards, nothing bad.
One thing I really liked about Nixon was his enemies list. Actually all politicians have them, even at lowest local level. Have to keep track.
But then in one of the maybe 10 or 12 books about Norman Mailer I’ve read (3 new books came out last year) by Peter Manso he revealed that Mailer kept a list with “name” “what was done against me” and “action I took against him.” Most had no action taken. I like the idea a lot.

The astonishing part is that Kimmel and the Oscar crowd seem genuinely aware that they are actually helping Trump and damaging their own professional and business interests.

When Ted Koppel (who used to be the anchor for ABC’s Nightline) asked Jimmy Kimmel that the oscars tilt left and would have a hard time attracting conservatives to watch, Jimmy insisted that some conservatives secretly watch the oscars but don’t tell their friends. What Jimmy did tonight doesn’t help the oscars attract new viewers for next year.
Trump just tricked them into acknowledging him at the Oscars, and demonstrating how biased they are at the same time.

So you're saying that elections are a beauty/popularity contest for women and candidates should sacrifice principles, say reassuring things and look good?
I've come to realize that women getting the vote handed the Democrat Party a lifeline when it should have died years ago. The party that's thrived on lies and fear-mongering far too long and at this time we need husbands to step up and assert...not these soy-boys in pajamas mewling "yes dear". Those ones who are pretending NOT to be homosexuals.

Trump continued to show he has to comment on everything, Kimmel showed why we don’t care about the Oscars and haven’t cared for many years.

Listen to you and we get stiffs like Bob Dole, George Bush, John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Jeb Bush. For once we have someone on our side who fights back. Better that than those gentlemen losers.
